Kobi, Di Resta, Button & Hamilton!

I honestly think we have all under estimated McLaren, they have made a few drastic changes now? Please Check next thread. But I honestly think JB or Hammy will be up there, Kobi? He's the most exciting F1 driver in a long time and I hope to see him on the podium, he has been very quick in practice. Di Resta I think has a chance of out doing Sutil! Com'ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't classify Lewis as a dark horse, he is expected to be at the sharp end anyway.

I vote for Nick Heidfeld!! You bloody read it here first!

 I was honestly going to say that as a joke!!!!!! :hehe:

I don't think so, people have wrote him off due to the lack of pace. Which I can understand but Whitmarsh is a genius :-)

Renault

I reckon if Renault are able to make their forward facing exhausts work, then they could be the class of the field in that certain aspect, making them strong in the first fly away races. Once other teams will see the impact it makes to the Renault's performance, they will be playing catch up. I do hope that Nick Heidfeld finally has the chance to show his true potential and will definitely be Renault's number one driver.

Toro Rosso

A very disappointing season for STR last year. Hopefully they can make amends this season as their car looks fantastic and their innovative double floor design seems to make them rather fast. Considering Force India have come up with a safe car in terms of new designs, it's fair to say that STR might surpass them at least in the early races, and perhaps other slow starting teams in the midfield. I reckon Seb and Jaime will be more competent in their driving, but if they introduce Ricciardo during the season, he might be able to help the team progress further up the standings.

Williams

Williams had an awful start last season and only really recovered in the 2nd half of the season. However, once they got going were able to get both cars into Q3 and into the points consistently. Hulkenburg also got that pole position of course. Their race pace was not as impressive as their qualifying however, which is something I think they will improve on this season. The FW33 is rather innovative with its small gearbox and other features, for this reason I see them being able to get a good start to the season and maybe be able to surpass slow starting teams (It's too hard to name them even now) who would normally be faster than them. Barrichello is obviously the team leader and has shown he can score well and consistently (hopefully he does not have bad luck this year). For Maldonado I don't really see anything amazing about him to be honest but I think he will be able to get a far stash of points. I must say I hope this season is a real breakthrough for Williams in terms of getting back to the top, its been too long since they've won.

McLaren: everyone's already written them off so they are my dark horse! There will be podiums there will be wins, count on it!

More like this bud,

"Hey I have been watching F1 since '09-'10 and I can predict (do not doubt my opinion) who will be WDC and McLaren,Ferrari etc etc suck"!

I think there has been some sort or 'tea bagging', must be a secret society :hehe: .

Agree, I hope to see hammy back his old ways. I said to Loz last night, While watching the 2010 Review, seeing hammy agressivly take alonso, Vettel in Canada was amazing. I said I want that back, When he is on the ball, boy he is taking it to the next level! I said I want that this season, despite me wanting Ferrari to win I still want to see Lewis back to his old ways, he may be a c@#k at times, but talent wise he is un describable. I want him to win and basically give us some good fights with Webber, Vettel, Alonso! I also want JB back up there, Lets get him a 2x WDC!!

Sauber will be up there no doubt, Renault will....But Heidfeld is a let down....WILLIAMS!!!! They will be P4-5 I think.
