For me personally i have no problem, just like I have no problem identifying Rossi in MotoGP. But he is 46.

Take this as an example.... when a graphic comes up on screen & says "Cars 7 & 16 are being investigated" Who else has trouble working out who that is? I do. If drivers had their own numbers, and kept them for their whole career, I'd remember them. Right now I have no reason to remember them since they change every year.

my biggest problem with thisis that its nowhere near the most important issue in need of addressing in F1, the commentators usually tell us what cars are ehat number ehen being investigated, and if the non hardcore fans care that
much they are quickly becoming hardcore fans and should browse some driver helmets, easiest way to tell, especiallyin retirements or crashes, when i saw that yelloe helmet of lewis' in hungary and spain i almost died...

I do, I hate it. This is a sport, every other sport has numbers. it should be changed and should have been this way from the alpha stages of f1.

Agree, in Moto Gp and it says 27 is under investigation i'm like okay stoner...Number 11 is being investigated I'm like okay Spies.

F1- Car 14 is being investigated, I'm like right wiki, look @ the previous season standings and by time I have figured this mofo out legard has told me :banghead:

Bring on the numbers. Plus it would be cool if the numbers where coloured in there own graphics, like i love it in Moto Gp they are the best for colours and liverys me thinks...

The teams/drivers could always have a designated number yet the champioship team could still use the #1 and #2? It is not a bad idea as change is normally hard to accept for most but change is usually a good thing, just my opinion of course :) .

Agree and no I think it would just be number 1 goes to the champ like in moto gp, Lorenzo gets numero 1 but Pedrosa gets his usual 26, why would you want to know you came second :P

Second is for losers aha!!!!!!!!!!

Doubt Alonso would like to be reminded of Ferrari's huge mistake every race by being reminded he was numero 2 lol!!!!!!!!!
