Thats sad. But even withthe restrictions... could they still not design something inovative.

Put it this way if I were to go to you and say:

"Here's £4M now make me a new phone, but it needs to run on this exact version of this old outdated OS, be this exact size, shape, weight, have 2 buttons, touch screen and be able to run exactly these features and no more."

You wouldn't have much in the way of leeway to innovate.

That sounds like a government innovation funding; you can apply funding for innovations, please first full in these 10 pages to make sure that your innovation complies to our policies. After that our expert innovation ministry will evaluate your innocatinoness before we consider to give the funds to your application. This may take 3-5 years.,.,

So why not stop all restrictions and start from scratch making the sport move on quickly and become better and keeping up with the times. Surely if the FIA just said make something and then looked into safety and the other crap then we would have something that was different altogether for each team.

Mercedes has to go full assault tomorrow, they're in great position to make some gains in the WCC for some good points on 2nd and 3rd places.

1.
Red Bull / Renault 164
2.
Ferrari 123
3.
Lotus / Renault 112
4.
Mercedes 109

With Massa far behind and Grosjean back there as well they have a good chance if the tyres work in their favour.

They were slightly better on their tyres don't you think?

Track configuration had probably 95% to do with it.

Everyone seems to have wiped out all the races before Bahrain from their memory...they DID get 2 podiums in Malaysia and China you know...and that was before the 'secret' test.

Man I had such a sweet dream last night...Brawn, Wolff, myself and 2 engineers brainstorming on all possibilities of why the car eats up its tyres with some real time telemetry data (both cars were circulating the track), it felt so real that when I woke up I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....

Which is why I prefer bad dreams anyday, so when I wake up I wake up happy. :(

Damn...I just remembered this dream today, (I posted this before the Monaco GP) and just realized this actually happened around the same time (the famous tyre test)....the only difference being I was missing. Strangeness.

Sure thing, after they help themselves first by getting rid of Button.
