Actually I full respect for the Tour de France guys. The speed they do the descents is amazing, and they're all packed together, and no protection if the come off.

I have respect for all sportsmen, however having raced cars and ridden bikes myself, I have a lot more respect for F1 drivers because they overcome something that's not natural, flat out in a mechanical contraption where a hundred things could break

Most of them anyway, some always have balance issues preventing them being flat out whenever possible

Nah to be honest I was never thinking of Button and his off track activities until Cookin brought it up. But it makes sense...the top F1 guys seem to prefer the high adrenaline stuff while the midfield runners are into the relaxed, calm sunday morning beach ride. Each to their own of course.
