Looking at Button trying to fight the car into the corner,it is like it doesn't want to stir. Lies are over, we should not fool ourselfs, the car is total crap... :irked: , whatever the updates of Spain will be, there is no way for the championship... I was wondering if it had some potential after all, but the mp4-28 is the farse of the century, I will be happy if we ever finish on podium this year... :censored:

Still wasnt as bad as the donkey at the start of 2009 and Lewis was winning in the second half of the year. Mechanically speaking this car looks like a complete mess even before any lack of downforce.
There is nothing though that cant be fixed by a team with Mclarens apparent resources, they could redesign every part by Silvrstone

They may have to do just that...

I hope so, Comparing the two seasons (2009 and now) they knew the car they had, and tried to further develop with the Blown diffuser which saved them (If I can remember). In this case they thought they were quick to start with (as they claimed).
We have issues with the pullrod susp., high nose, front wing, wrong direction of the air under the car floor, exhaust and rear aerodynamics, giving to the car weird balance, no grip, no downforce and severe understeer. Leaving behind (a ready to race) winner like the mp4-27, makes me wonder what did they see in this new design to make them take the big decision...?

They probably gambled that they could shake it down very early in the season, put too much faith in the sim correlation to the actual tracks and forgot about the absence of in season track testing

and mistook Button for Alonso

The fact the "car is crap" was clear from first practice at Melbourne. But look back over the past decade or so. McLaren have had similarly bad starts and still gone on to win a race later in the year.

But this year is different, they don't have a 'Lewis Hamilton' type of driver, Jenson Button is clearly a totally useless driver who isn't fast enough to push the team forward in development!

/if you can beat the Button bashers, might was well join them eh?

But his hair is dandruff free. :hehe:

Clearly being dandruff free means he is even slower as all the other drivers are laden with dandruff which adds two tenths of a second per lap!
