One thing that struck me today was that the "never give up, never stop fighting" titled person kept wanting to retire his car. Are Mercedes worrying about engines?

Shouldn't everyone? Seb is close to taking a 6th engine and Lewis only has 4 since 1 is completely knackered

None of it makes sense from either driver. Why would rosberg risk hitting hamilton's car? If hamilton's tire hadn't punctured then he'd have gone on to win the race while rosberg obviously sustained the wing damage. There was just nothing to gain from it. And please nobody try and say rosberg "aimed" for a spot where a puncture is almost guaranteed cuz that's just silly.

He's one engine down on Nico already and he said Sutil was pulling away from him in the race due to damage on the underbody.

So EVEN with a SC (there's never an SC when its a dry race suddenly..even with rubber all over the track), he'd be in a big battle to score more than 3-4 points.

Why not save the engine and not lose even more ground to Nico. He was thinking smart and i would've retired the car with half the race to go anyway since rain was no where near.

I don't see how it's a big deal that rosberg called out british fans for booing. Big deal. If hamilton called german fans out for booing at him then pffft it's probably true. So what?

But we'd be on his case then. Or I would. The deal is it was a douchy comment to make considering he knows WHY they are booing him. He knows why he is in hot water and he is just going to take this out on his fans

Fair enough. I know I wouldn't be taking it out on him :P cuz I'd be like, "...yeah...yeah that's probably true. "

^ agreed. After hamilton was just stuck in 17th place for most of the time I'd have just parked it to save parts as well. As they say, pick your battles.

Maybe it is a desperate Hamilton trying to get Rosberg banned for causing an accident!

Even if Rosberg had taken both cars out, it would still have been to his advantage ?
IMO the only risk to Rosberg was damaging his own car and Hamilton disappearing into the distance.

What a retard for admitting something like that. Shoulda just kept his mouth shut and collected his moneys!!

What Cookin said last time was right....the guy is a bit of a blonde. The way he speaks, fast and without much content...its like an empty vessel with an IQ of 100 at best. And sometimes average IQ can work terribly against you. :hehe:

That's exactly what I meant, the risk was rosberg damaging his car and hamilton driving off and winning. Makes no sense. Yes, if rosberg had taken them both out then it would be to his advantage as hamilton wouldn't have gained points on him
