The fact is Red Bull does FAR more racing than any other F1 team. They are far more experienced as a company on how to assemble a winning team. You can't go to a pro race of any kind and not see a Red Bull presence, from the dirt of motocross to the clouds in airplanes.....Red Bull races. For fans of F1 to say ridiculous things like 'just a drinks company'.....even if quoting a driver who clearly had his head up his backside...is embarrassing as a fan. One would have to truly be ignorant of the racing world to make a statement like that.

Red Bull is a racing company and has been for quite a long time....and they more often than not do quite well. I can't say I "support" them per se, but I do respect the company and its achievements. I am definitely a fan of their PR approach.

Yes, I agree. I always refer to the days when Benetton had a title-winning car... what were they? A fashion design / clothing company!

I agree with this and that is perhaps the reason why I support Red Bull. But I am particularly a fan of their driving academy.

Another bill post about a topic not involving Hamilton that somehow manages to have a dig at him

I guess being a sponsor makes you a racer then bill  so monster energy rockstar are also racers because they are moto? hell they can buy an F1 team too They are still a bloody drinks make. What if coca cola bought a team would you call them racers?
I'm down with red bull and the events that you have brought up, but they are a drinks manufacturer that knows it's market place.

I mean come on! Yes they have a cool looking car and they're in the form of their life at the moment but surely not! Unless you're a glory supporter of course. They are still not the obvious choice because they are corporate rather than a team with proper heritage.

They may not have heritage or racing back ground, but after seen them consistently keep coming back to the USA to show off Formula 1, they get my respect. Even if it is about the money, I don't see any of the other teams stepping up to show real solid support to come back to my country. This idea that just because they are made from a corporate bank account they are a real racing team is full of crap. The team itself is a team of racers and racing lovers, so that alone is enough to shoot down any nay sayers.

What if coca cola bought a team would you call them racers?

If they acted like red bull and promoted the same way, yes, yes I would.

First of all, I think Lewis was making a joke when he said "just a drinks company"...and its taken heavily out of context, like sour grapes or something.

And I really do enjoy their presence in F1, a fun happy go lucky team which is causing serious problems for F1's heavyweights. It's a bit of pain for sure, but a necessary one...McLaren and Ferrari are having to push that extra inch on all fronts to not get humiliated and this is only a good thing for the sport.

The fact that they denied Alonso a 3rd WDC last year helps my love for them a lot of course. :P

Its all about cans, Not cars.

Yeah ask everyone at red bull racing if its only about the drink.

They were a team before Redbull bought them out, I am talking about the owners.

I am weird as I am a Ferrari fan whilst also being a Jensen Button Fan, although I do like McLaren to do well as I was an Aryton Senna fan too.

All you need to do is to add Seb to the drivers you like and you've won just about every race this century
