I expect the other two top teams to do whatevher the f*** they want from now, maybe make their drivers juggle balls in the car while racing, and then after the race donate a couple of steering wheels to the FIA. Screw them all.

Interesting

The FIA has announced that its World Motor Sport Council is to consider whether Ferrari should face further sanctions for the team orders controversy at the German Grand Prix, after the team was fined $100,000 for its actions.

Fernando Alonso was handed victory at Hockenheim after his Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa sacrificed the lead on lap 48 - soon after the team had told the Brazilian that he was slower than the car behind him.

Although Ferrari has insisted that it did not issue a team order, and merely provided Massa with information, the race stewards after the German GP had a different opinion.

After speaking to team principal Stefano Domenicali, team manager Massimo Rivola, plus Alonso and Massa to examine the events of the afternoon, the race stewards decided that the regulations had been broken.

In a statement issued on Sunday night, the FIA stated that a breach of Article 39.1, which bans team orders, and 151c, which relates to bringing the sport into disrepute, had been committed.

It said that the penalty would be: "Fine $100,000. The case will also be referred to the FIA World Motorsport Council for further consideration."

ferrari has been found guilty and fined $100,000 are you for real........strip them of there places where it really hurts....you think they care about a measly amount of money that they can just get back just as easy....if there guilty of fixing a race then the race result should be void for the involved parties......what a sham, fia helping ferrari yet again

AGREE 100%.....Ferrari get away with everything.. they are guilty if they have been fined..its race fixing they should be striped of there positions!!! Utter disgrace!! Money is nothin to ferrari!!!

to be honest i think its worse for them that they are going in front of the WMSC. will obviously happen in the 3 week break but they could have their race result taken away all together.

Doubt it - sounds like a 'kick it into the long grass' tactic to me. The stewards at the race didn't want to stick their necks out and decided punishing ferrari properly was above their pay grade... :hehe:

This is something like the Malaysia 1999 race...3 weeks later when things have cooled down and they go against the WMSC, next day in the papers you see some sh*t like "FERRARI ROARS BACK" or some such and everythings fine, hue and cry is over.

we all know what that means...yet another fine, maybe add 10k on top of the 100k........why cant the fia do the right punishment instead of refering it...... ah wait i forgot......they are in ferraris back pocket and have to portray an image of doing something about it, i wonder where that 100k will go......development on the ferrari courtesy of the fia

The WMSC move is a bit of a token gesture, nothing will really happen unless Massa/Smedley speak out... and will they want to lose their jobs?

This thing is getting blown way out of proportion all the same, i could name a couple of blatant acts of team orders in the last few years that no one gave a crap about. So why now? Cause it was for the lead of a race? Hm...
