Eddie's sweat patches were the funniest thing. They came back from Q1 and he wearing a coat  Then a different shirt the next time we saw him. Classic.

Anyways, awesome qualifying session with so much to talk about.

Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren all clearly got caught out with their heads up their arses, thinking they were too good to go straight out. Big mistake, and they duly paid for it. Mercedes were just lucky to be honest. But their mistake means we'll have a great race tommorrow.

Webber took a brave decision today, but brave is just one word to decribe it. It shows on one hand, a lack of confidence that he could match Vettel today, that he felt it was nessacary to take the risk. A brisk shower would have made the intermediates look very silly. But on the other hand, Webber looks certain to take race victory tommorrow which will give him a massive boost of confidence.

Rosbergs performance may go slightly unoticed. But without Webber, he would have taken pole ahead of some stiff competition. So all credit to him.

Everyone seems to be quietly praising Hulkenburg. I have to say I'm a massive fan of the guy. Only his third race, terrible conditions with rain one second, and drying the next. He was quick all the time. The guy is masterful in the rain. He's also a really nice guy, and so down to earth. Not like some drivers trying to act professional or others trying to act too cool. Just really geniune. Certainly someone I'll be supporting.

Can't wait till tomorrow, wet or dry race. I say Webber will win it, with Vettel in close company. But then again, the last 4 races have seen the guy on pole suffer probelms, and Webber's car didn't look to healthy on friday. But the rest should be as unpredictable as the weather.

Newb question.
I'm not too familiar with the new rules. Am I right in thinking that the top 10 need to start the race on the tyres they fInshed Q3 with? If so the bottom 14 will have a real advantage if it's dry.

Was thinking something similar myself. But I don't think the FIA are that stupid. I'm positive that its says if it rains, those tyre rules simply don't apply. Otherwise Vitaly Petrov would basically be on pole if it were dry.

tommrow's winner will depend on the reliblity of the red bulls, and the safty cars

You've got 4 cars well out of place at the back if they can make a charge and there's a few safty cars i'd say Lewis, Alonso, Jenson or Massa could win.

If it rains tomorrow, any of the 24 cars could cross the line first :P

And I think it would be an extra challenge if the FIA made the top-ten start on their wet tyres in a dry race tomorrow.

No, I jest. I'm just looking forward to tomorrow, whatever the weather.

If it's dry they'll put on slicks, not sure if they have to start on the same set of wet/inters if the weather conditions are similar though.

No - any rain in qualifying means the tyre rule is waived.

What the hell? I take my eyes off this sport for 60 damn minutes and the McLarens fall off the road!? Ah well. We Re in fr a cracking race!

As for the idea Webber's gamble showed him as intimidated by Vettel...Utter BS. He outsmartd Seb and everyone else. Credit where it's due

Two races in a row an older, more experienced driver has used a combination of experience and guts to make a gamble with the tyres in changing conditions. Mark's first lap on the inters was horrible and I expected him to qualify in tenth place, but then he put in some astonishing times afterwards and showed that he is up for fighting. Congratulations to him :)

With four fast cars starting so far back, the Williams, Sauber and Force India cars higher-up than they should be and the potential for more rain, Malaysia should be a good race indeed. :D

Tomorrow will prvide for an amazing race. We will have such a nice mix up, to be fair i do hope that Rosberg does well because he is a fantastic driver and really is proving that he is reliable and is consistant when scoring points. So maybe we could see a win for the German, ummm RBR? I am not really worried about them. Last year Vettel got his car stuck in the gravel and Webber is just far too aggressive? I really think he will lodge his car in the side track. Lewis is who i am really looking out for, he does seem to be a threat to everyone and i am watching out for JB too, i think Schumi will do okay. But Ferrari is going to be a major player in this and i can really see Massa setting some good pace for the race if he gets his confident up!!!
Alonso hopefully will do pretty awesome!!
