watching it again, it seems un-fucking-believeble to me. WTF was he thinking? Where was the gap he thought he saw???

Webber actually had space to turn inside both of them - potentially getting passed the two there, but he just drove through the middle of the corner and when Leiws tried to turn into it he ran into Webber.

I don't know how it's possible that two people see this incident so differently. Is there someone who has an objective view on it and is on no one's side? :D

Put it on hold on 0:22 mark. There is the biggest gap there was between Alonso and Lewis AND the only place he could get through because there was NO WAY he could get through the inside because Alonso had the line and Lewis was trying to make it from outside.

But this site is just typical anything this guy does gets jumped on its getting boring to read and come on here to be honest.

Well this is not a Lewis Hamilton or a McLaren website mate and now you realize how it feels for those who do not support McLaren 110% or one of their drivers, it is a two way street.
Same thing happens with Alonso and Schumacher - get over it!

The simple fact is that one decision was made by the team in which the driver agreed to mind you and then blames the team for their decision because he could not fight for the win  .

Then another decision was made by a driver and not the team and all hell breaks loose just because it was NOT Hamilton :nono: , the driver has the final say so as to when he stops not the team.

Is there someone who has an objective view on it and is on no one's side? :D

Yes please read my ^^ post :) .

eh? I do agree that its Webber's fault, I was expanding on that - Webber had space to go elsewhere that would also give him an advantage from what I can see - yet he diddn't.

i personally think it was webber's fault, im on nobody's side here but when hamilton tried to pass alonso, alonso blocked him off and hamilton had to get on the brakes and webber should have had the awareness to know he wasnt gonna be able to get past on the line that he was on.

what really bothers me is when a big name gets involved in a collision like say hamilton or alonso in a ferrari or a mclaren there is always a reprocussion to the team or the driver. from what i understand webber isnt even under investigation. anyone care to explain why?

because under the circumstances the only thing he could have done was pull the eject handle. what the hell do you people expect him to have done. its F1. its a racing incident. it happens. Holi crap. you guys need some motherly love to get past this..?

He got a reprimand from the Stewards, I imagine its becuase they diddn't feel it was intentional or malicious, Webber diddn't gain an advantage from it and consequently will have been taught a lesson without any punishment needed to assist.

It now looks like it was hamiltons fault. he braked and turned into webber's path.

No it was not Hamiltons fault.

Ok !! Whose side are you on Tex ?? If hamilton wasnt in the way there would have been no problem. I am sure you agree with that statement.
Just a simple yes or no will suffice.

I know you asked tex but - hamilton wasn't in the way, Webber ignored the space that was out of the way.
