It was some sort of ring off the wheel. Don't think it was the actual nut though but thats what the commentators were saying it was so maybe I'm wrong

I'm a bit worried about the new teams - stuff keeps falling off their car. That can't be good for safety.


Chandock sounded like a good bloke on his interview - at least he diddn't just whine about not being able to drive his car.

Great combo, Lewis and jenson, saw them laughing and talking together in the pits garage. There's a good feeling within the Macca stable. However Von Schumacher didn't look happy finger wagging within his garage, stroppy little kraut

Was wondering if anyone knew if the Ferrari wheel devices are part of the wheel itself rather than a cover because the covers are banned? Wheels are a homologated part so unless you started the season with the wheel device you would not be able to implement it further along the line would you?

Think that Lotus Racing have done amazingly well to get there today - their car is only 5 months old!!! Have you seen the photos? Whatever you say about Lotus - it's a beautiful car... And that team have guts and spirit that's for sure.

You are correct. It's a part of the wheel and it's homologated so the other teams can't add them until 2011. Same with the McLaren "Special Knee Thingy". If the other teams want to copy that, they will find it very hard to copy because the safety cell is homologated as is.

Yes, just as you said. It's seen to be part of the wheel because it's made out of the same material, rather than being a separate piece. Force India apparently have a similar thing going on, and again yes. The wheels are now homologated, so no one can copy it.

Ooooooh I'm sooooooo excited!!!!!!! Missed my lecture so I could watch FP! Someone please fastforward the day so I can watch Quali. I have to watch footie everyday (we have all the sports channels and I have to watch it from every country too) so its nice to have my sport back! Yeah!
