Coulda predicted the black Virgin Racing car from their press launch - the jackets and backdrop were a dead giveaway.

Yeah, they kind of looked more like the T-birds out of Grease in those jackets, maybe Branson reckons the Virgin car will go like Greased Lightning too.

Virgin car will be black, says di Grassi

Lucas di Grassi has revealed that his first Formula 1 car will be primarily black as Virgin Racing prepares to join the grid next season. The Brazilian makes the step up from GP2 after finishing third overall with Racing Engineering in 2009.

Car launches will be happening this month in time for the first test in feb. So we can put all the nice pics of them here in the mean time..

It's a showing of their livery, not an actual car launch, if I remember correctly.

Oh riiight, so like the 2010 livery on a '09 spec car, ala Ferrari? Hmm this must mean that they are actually changing their livery a bit then - because it would obviously be pretty much the same, and wouldn't warrant an 'event' otherwise.

Well the Merc/Brawn swap is going to be a big change in livery. I would imagine that Silver will be the colour of the day

So, question, do we know if McLaren will be posting video from the launch after the fact, so we can see some of it On Demand? I'll be in a lesson at College during the Live Stream, but I still want to see it in video.
