No way is Fisichella anywhere near as bad as Badoer, free practice results mean jack sh*t, let's see what he does in qualifying...

He should acclimatise to the car quickly enough, but Monza is not ussualy a good race for Ferrari's package anyway. As long as he's within a few 10ths from Kimi it should be a respectable showing.

He'll probably be going KERS crazy though :skidmarks: hopefully he not with those new Monza curbs :yikes: That could turn into an interesting launch!

Looking forward to this one, another place where you can feel the history and atmosphere regardless of the quality of the race. I would absolutely love a Force India to come in ahead of Fisichella, I've got nothing against the guy, just think it would be hilarious; it's clearly a quick car on low downforce circuits, and Haug thinks the pack will be 'tighter than ever before' (or something along those lines), so it's not beyond the realms of possibility. As per usual, hoping and expecting Lewis to win, but after qualifying I'll be able to make up my mind over whether I'm likely to be disappointed or not. The car is made for Monza really, if he doesn't win here it'll be hard to win anywhere else (Abu Dhabi unknown), especially as presumably McLaren have shifted their resources to next year's car?

I'm still not convinced that Button would be a worthy world champion, but I would like him to get his act together a bit; if he is destined to win it and make it even more of a Brawn fairy story than it already is, then I want him to prove he's got what it takes when his car isn't head and shoulders above the rest. Either way I'd like Brawn to win the WCC. Still, championships won't be won and lost this weekend; I'd expect Red Bull to have the potential to gnaw into Brawn's lead, but whether or not they have the ability to deliver is becoming debatable. Still, I'd like a good race from Barrichello, hopefully one in which he actually makes it off the start line at the same time as everyone else. Tomorrow I'll go for a Force India making it to an unlikely front row grid slot, with a McLaren next to them. Which side remains to be seen!

Looks like a good weekend for McLaren both HK and LH are making good noises about the car and they commented about running heavy fuel loads in P2.

yeah could be on for a podium or a win here.
