Well Travis aka Shithead has not come home for about 6-7 weeks now but I heard he was seen running with a pack. That dog was the biggest PITA but I worry about him. Atleast SHP2 (shithead part #2, the cat) is still here yet she will be the LAST pet I take in, too much worrying and heartache. I wish Travis could have been like Max I left back home in Houston with my mom but different breeds different issue's.

Pets huh? Most recent ones were fishes...a great story. I bought a small aquarium with an external filter (so no lid available) and had 2 silver sharks and 2 patins in them...they looked great swimming around like sharks for the first 2 days. Then I go on a company trip and come back to find all four on the floor...decaying. Ouch.

I bought a tropical fish tank last week got 8 Platys in it at the moment. I am new to the world of tropical fish, so hoping they survive the cycle (whatever that is)

and the moral of the story for them was... the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

^^^^ Thats great! Back in the early '70s when I was a youngster there was/is a big shopping mall complex with lots of seperate shops on the complex we would run around on the weekends and there was a tropical/exotic fish store. I mean this place had floor tanks with sharks and such so I have always wanted a saltwater aquarium but I have been told they are very finicky aswell as expensive.

So in hindsight and since I can barely take care of myself NO MORE PETS :hehe: !!!

Sad pet news. One of my guinea pigs just died :( . I fetched them back from the lady who looked after them while I was away and she said Lewis was a bit off colour the last day or so :( . He was very listless, his breathing became laboured and he just died. Now Mclaren is alone and they were brothers, together from birth, so he's going to need lots of cuddles. I feel bad I was away because id have noticed something was wrong and got him to the vet.

Are they like headlight bulbs?... In that if one goes, you should replace the pair?
