Prawking what the hell have you got against Spain and people that don't support Hamilton he is not the king of F1 and not everyone has to support him. Also you are saying that everyone in Spain are racist they are NOT!!!! have you ever even been to Spain or are you just jumping to conclusions just because of a few idiots that are racist.

nope i have been to spain and i got called 'white spacker'

Funny, in my country we'd just call you an eijit for having such generalised views.

Okay - I was hoping that my first post on this forum would be more positive than this - but here goes.

To Jose Lopez. Your views about the Brits are almost racist in themselves - at the very least you are generalising by describing all brits as eejits who go to Spain and get drunk - rest assured we are not all like that.

I am English but I lived in Spain for many years - the plain fact is that racist and zenophobic attitudes are more culturally acceptable in Spain than in the UK and other countries. And the Spanish governement could - and should - do more to combat racism - especially against africans, muslims and arabs. I understand there are a myriad of historical, economic and social reasons for the cultural racism in Spain. As a free democracy, Spain is very young - the society as a whole just needs to grow up a bit.

It is pointless to drag up old colonial arguments in this context - many outrages have been carried out over the centuries and I would find it hard to name an industrialised nation that is totally without blame - but we're talking about what happens now. The bottom line is that racism - such as that seen on the website pinchalaruedadehamilton (thankfully now shut down) is totally unacceptable.

I think this subject has been done to death - personally, I am going to watch the final GP of the season - may the best man win!

Well...allow me:

Hamilton is still a f'ing looser to me  ...go crash in a pit lane Lewis!... 08 Champion? what a joke

Could not have said it better myself
If they would deduct the points that a driver has caused other drivers to lose with unfair driving then Hamilton would currently be at about -147 :D:D

Keep the champagne on ice for just a second. Because this thread is a joke. Now i've kept my mouth shut on Hamilton and on F1 for the last few weeks, and this is all I am going to say on F1 tonight.
Congradulations Hamilton, fantastic drive a very MARKETABLE World champion. I'm quite relieved that today proved what i've thought for a while - that other drivers are still very much in his league. He doesn't give me the fear Schumacher did when he crossed the line in 2000 - that he will go off and dominate.
There, Im not doubting Lewis's world title - good work Mclaren.

On the racism row - those British who have sat and criticised Spain really need to look at their own country.
A country still rife with Sectarian Violence, with a growing fear of the Arab world. hardly a paradise.
What about France and the race riots in Paris a few years ago.
Spain were under a Facist government for most of the 20th century whuch drove the regions apart and caused alot of tensions. It can be expected that there are still problems.
Look to the former Soviet Union and you will see racism is sprouted throughout the area. Be it Anti-Russians in Estonia to Anti Romanians in Hungary and these are people living within their country, subjected to forced loss of citizenship etc etc.

People need to look into the wider scope of Europe and the rest of the world before making assumptions. Spain aint clean, but neither is anywhere else.

The best way for Lewis to answer the filthy, disgusting racists and all the booers and dissenters was to win the Title. Which he duly did. Personally, I think that the races held in Spain should be moved to a different country purely because of their racism problems. It happens in football over there too so I think it's kind of inbred into the general populace, well, at least those that follow sports.
