Ecclestone was awful today, slagging Silverstone off despite it looking splendid today.
Martin Brundle interviewed him on the grid, Brundle commented that Silverstone was looking great, and Bernie complained about it and pulled a face. I forget all if what he said but he criticised Silverstone because it wasn't raining!!!
Martin then put it to Bernie that since Bernie hates Silverstone anyway, he wasn't going to be impressed, to which Bernie pulled another strange face and avoided the comment.
I cannot stand Ecclestone. What I cant understand is why everyone in the paddock is so all over him. Literally, they're all very touchy feely!
Ecclestone was awful today, slagging Silverstone off despite it looking splendid today. The sooner he's history, the better. But having said that, I agree with the "better the devil you know" outlook
It's creepy... but for the last few week, Bernie has been laying unusually low and all of the sudden Charlie Whiting starts spewing irrationally nonsensical crap and making bizarre decisions. It's like the parasitic alien entity that's currently using Bernie as a host senses that body doesn't have long to live and has injected its pupa offspring form into Charlie.
That emergency meeting that Bernie called between FP3 And quali , when teams should have been concentrating on their cars, so that things like them setting fire didn't happen.....was all about ways to improve ' the show' , and one idea was to bring back Briatore to improve the spectacle. Here's more about it.
