First GP2 of the season, and we get THIS.....

No wonder we have bad constant crashes in F1 if this is the quality of driver coming through.....

That's shocking! :eek::nono:

It is a bit much. :hehe:

As much as I like Nico Rosberg, didn't he do something similarISH at Bahrain last year with Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso?

I know they shouldn't be doing such things as it is dangerous, not to mention against the rules, but it does add a bit of excitement at times.

To a degree this grid is influenced by the changing weather and the luck of timing. So I don't think it reflects the true order of things. If the race is dry, it should sort out a bit. I am surprised how the teams seemed to be caught with their pants down when the rain started.

Yeah Redbull were f**ked in terms of pace until the rain arrived. Best chance for a Ferrari 1-2 tomorrow I reckon, and hopefully Lewis completing the podium.

Seriously doubt it. Look at SV's fastest time in FP3. No, RB was simply playing the tire game in preparation of the race tomorrow (listen to what SV said about saving tires in the press interview).

im thinking that alonso has a great chance here no what the weather does. he won last year in the race and his starts in the dry and fantastic that he can get close to vettel if not pass him. then with the red bulls tire wear issues im thinking that they are going to do an extra stop over the ferrari. but anyway it pans out i think it will be a good race at the front. im also really interested to see what hulkenburg can do and force india. after last race im really respect them and hope good things for them. then bianchi is doing amazing things in that marussia being only .2 seconds behind a WILLIAMS and almost a full second ahead of the rest of the pack. who else thinks that if di resta doesnt really shine this season he might lose his seat to bianchi for next season?

Hoping the Ferraris don't let Vettel escape far into the distance after Turn 1. Another closely-fought race please! :)

If its dry I think it might be the other way around based on what happened in Australia. Ferrari's 1 lap pace isnt great so to be 2-3 with Lotus 10-11 is a bonus!

Agreed. I see Redbull going backwards tomorrow...but they are a smart bunch, so maybe there's another twist in the tale.

Almost had a fit when I saw how far down RBR were in Q1 :hehe:

I've been out all day and got to watch qualifying just now. The Red Bull is set up with very little rear wing, if it rains, I think they're going to be toast.

Gotta think a bit about the pool, but Ferrari are looking strong, the car is very balanced. FI are clearly the best of the midfield right now, looking at the weather forecast for the circuit tomorrow around race time it looks like 90% chance of any precipitation, and 90% chance of significant precipitation.

They weren't so toast today when it rained...a second faster than anyone else!
