Mercedes looking good for qualifying! DRS (One of the best in the field, if not, the best) + Merc engine. However tyre wear is always a problem in the race

Yeah I'd put money on Schumi outqualifying Rosberg here...since this is his "living room" and all... :hehe:

I hope a suprised shower comes into play. I hope the day is clear, sunny, hot, and then a cool rain comes for about 15 mins, with some minor winds.

You don't ask for much do you mate?! :hehe:

Actually, Spa is good whatever the weather.

The quote DID bring that idea to me...but it was not my intent in the post. Before a mod comes to kick my a**...... He literally said it during an interview. Here you go: :P

"The race in Spa will certainly have a special touch to it this time, as this is where I drove my first ever Formula One race 20 years ago," the Mercedes driver said. "It's hard to believe that this was such a long time ago. A lot has changed in those 20 years, but one thing has not: the track is still sensational. I just love the great nature of the location and the resulting layout with all the ups and downs.

"To me, Spa remains my 'living room', because it has been the stage for so many things which have been remarkable for my sporting career. This is why this time I would like to specifically send a big thank you to all my fans for their loyalty and support, which I was happy to receive during those 20 years and also since my comeback."

"Talking about the sporting side prior to Spa, we are all returning from the summer break with fresh motivation and energy, and will try to set an exclamation mark at the Belgian Grand Prix."

Since his first start at Spa Francorchamps in 1991, Schumacher has secured 91 victories and seven world titles. Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn worked alongside him on every one of his championship victories and is looking forward to celebrating his friend's milestone race.

"Congratulations to Michael who marks his 20th anniversary in Formula One this weekend," he said. "It has been an honour and a privilege to work so closely with him for 17 of those 20 years, and I look forward to more good times ahead together."

I guarantee at some point during the weekend, that is, at the televised parts of schumachers 20th anniversary party, that you see Hamilton talking to Alonso whilst the cameras are flashing, and its Hamilton doing the talking. This is for BBC coverage mainly but RTL and Sky or whatever might show it too.

Guarantee.

I can't remember which race it was but it was right before the poium ceremony and Hamilton was twittering away like mad to the other 2 drivers and they hardly said 2 words to him, and hardly even acknowledged him! I thought it was rather funny (or tragic). I think Alonso might have been one of the other drivers but I can't recall the 3rd.

I think hes more aware, or caring, of all the talk that would potentially go on throughout the world of F1 from pub chat to our forumns when he does so, when they had that 5 champion elect photo with ecclestone in korea he made sure to sit with fernando, i think he knows them two are a cut above and who everyone talks about. Youll disagree about Vettel not being so but thats not the point, i think its what he thinks and he likes to get tongues talking.

Seriously though i bet it happens.

I think the answer lies with the current script writter - Simon Fuller.

Spa wasn't too crazy last year, or in 2008 (i watched that season too) what I don't want is korea 2010.
