The same can be said for the Redbull and Ferrari guys. Webber is going to be hard pressed to beat Vettel this year in qualifying, and Massa...well, its in the contract. :D

But the gap was so close last year. Vettel will get out qualified by Webber a good number of times this year. He wasn't that much faster to begin with and speed is not really something that changes unless you are shumi or Massa.

Webber is amazing, His race in Monaco and Silverstone was the races in which I personally gained amazing respect for. But personally he's a twat who is attention seeking. Seb is a great team player and deserves the things in which he has gained, in the last round he was calm and collected. Bloody ell that's why my misses supports him because he's fair.
Back to JB v LH. Lewis will be dominant in the garage until JB gets to grips with a few things...

normally i agree with you vb, but what about turkey last year?, oh and silverstone, :P

What when he had those accidents?

Personally i think the faster the car gets the more the gap will open between Lewis and Jenson. Jenson will really have his work cut out for him this season now the car is coming in line with the RedBulls.

We can talk about drive through but the fact remains that Jenson needs to out qualify Lewis if he has any chance of beating him this season,it's as simple as that imo.

As Lewis said to the BBC , it's Alonso that he see as the threat, once the cars comes in line with RedBull then we will see what Vettel is made off.

i dont see why Q is the ONLY weapon Jenson may have against Lewis. Why?

what about Turkey last yr? and how bout Monza? how bout the races Jenson won????

Obviously, it is harder for Jenson to start behind, but without lsst season as an already shown example i dont think Q is the only way jenson can beat Lewis. They are both very very close in race pace, and according to everyone, the new gadjits should take some importance away from Q.

its one thing that Lewis sees Alonso as his nemesis, but i'm sure he wouldnt call him his only threat. It doesnt matter if Alonso is better than jenson or not, or if Lewis thinks he's better than vettel... he's got to deal with them as well. and last, and every yr, show things can change very easily.

Yes he has to deal with all of them...as do they all. I think he's just saying that all other things being equal, Alonso would be his biggest threat...and of course there,s history between those two. Id say the guy in the driving seat has the best feel for who his stonget competitor is.

But can it? Webber was dominated in the first two rounds of 2010, by the third round hed already beaten Vettel to pole.........

I dont see how this year im terms of car performance is pretty much around the same as last year, and suddenly from getting about 6 poles in 2010, webbers going to be dominated by Vettel? Its just stupid thinking. Especially the " He'll be faster now hes a WDC" rubbish. When has that EVER happened before. The only thing that changes is consistency, unless your Hamilton, who still makes 2007/8 esque mistakes. Youve always got the speed from race 1, its how rookies get noticed and signed to bigger teams. Im willing to post a picture of me eating my own hat if Webber doesnt get at least 3 poles this year.

Whoa. Excuse me mate, you dont get to determine whats stupid or not, we're here in a forum with opinions. If I feel Vettel will be stronger after getting the WDC boulder off his back, thats my opinion and Im dead sure I'm not alone in this.

You seem to think you're a know-it-all around here with your input on what to discuss/what not and whats stupid/intelligent thinking? I'd say, take it easy, and respect others discussions and opinions a little more alright Sparky? Otherwise people are just going to look at you as a pest.

And honestly, I dont really look forward to seeing what you look like, hat-eating or not. :)

Again, I think Vettel will beat WEbber harder than he did last year. You can think Webber is going to dominate Vettel from now onwards, or whatever, and I shall respect that. I expect the same from your side. Thank you very much.

 This post is pathetic.

I answered your first one with " but can it?"

and followed it up with " i just cant see how....."

Where the utter crumpet did you work out from that, that im telling you your wrong. I didnt tell you anything, i proposed a counter-argument and you act like a spoilt little girl.

All i did was propose a counter argumentm you know, a differing viewpoint. You should of used your quote button to come up with a counter-counter argument, and so on. But you decided you didnt like that i dont agree with you. Maybe i shouldnt have said stupid thinking, for that i do apologise. But forming that opinion of yours based on ONE race. That does seem awful fickle to me.

The only part of your post that matters. Apology accepted.

Anyway, fickle or not I tend to base my judgement on 'form'. Vettel would've thrashed Webber last year if not for his misfortunes. He did have quite a few retirements due to car failure, and he made some really stupid mistakes which I don't see him making again. Very much like a Lewis on Kimi's a**e in Canada 2008.

With 1 very tough year under his belt (best car or not, he definitely learnt a lot!) I think he will be stronger than ever. You are in no way obligated to agree with me, but let's just watch them in action this year shall we?

The gap was close thanks to differing fortunes for both drivers. I don't see Vettel being outqualified more than 5 times this year.

I sincerely doubt Lewis is stupid enough to think Fernando is his biggest threat no matter what. He's a pretty smart character. What he thinks is that Fernando will likely always be his nemesis. One's nemesis and one's greatest threat are often far form the same thing. Furthermore, sometimes your nemesis becomes your ally AGAINST your greatest threat.

What???

You know, it's a lot easier to answer a question if you actually ask it rather than just use an Interrogative.

When he tells me after such a rare thing as a sincere apology on here, that its the only part of my post that mattered, he derserved nothing less. I dont have time for smugness especialyl when hes clearly in the wrong.

This topic needs a cooling off period. This was on the edge of tolerance from the inception and the last couple of pages have taken it over that edge. A couple of warnings by Myownalias to keep it in check... to no avail has earned this thread a fishing trip.

Further to this thread being locked; I have applied warnings to both FRAFPDD and Hammer278 accounts for continuing their bickering after I asked both to stop on the previous page.
