Charlie Whiting has come out and said that MRW will not be allowed to be used by any driver during the event (includes q and race) if the car is fitted with intermediate or wet tyres.
"Any driver using the adjustable bodywork whilst the car is fitted with intermediate or wet-weather tyres will be reported to the stewards as being in breach of Article 2.3 of the Technical Regulations (dangerous construction)."
Oddly the rule is being enforced differently. In P2, when
one car was fitted with the Inters,
all cars had the Active Rear Wing disabled.
