Smaller teams have always popped up and folded after a couple seasons or so in F1. It's sadly part of the sport.

I still lament the loss of Simtek and Forti.

It's worse when much bigger teams go bankrupt and die, especially ones who were firmly in the midfield mixing it up. Jordan, Prost or Arrows anyone? Those were the days...

Sauber is already decided, btw. And that's just a mistake, probably due to a Hamilton fanboy... :hehe:

2014 aero changes dropped

Very disappointing that the aero reg's will not be changed. I guess F1 will rely even more on quick fixes like DRS, KERS and fragile tyres.

Wtf is with the electric pitlane things? So we are spared from hearing cars buzzing like bees in the pitlane now, thank God.

What a spineless bunch the FIA have become; have the courage of your convictions, don't make rules then back out later!

Lame. :(

I hear that Turkey may be back next year, though.

That news is also lame.

The teams were never happy with the proposed aero changes. I suppose the FiA have to keep the teams sweet so they remain committed to F1.

I don't agree. And I do.

Err...

I think it's a great track, it's just a shame that there doesn't seem to be much local interest and that the stands are always empty (although I can't think the pricing helps with that...).
