There are too many examples of Button burning out his tyres to even think that he is any good at conserving. The only time that he was better with the tyres than Hamilton was in China. All the other races he either couldn't get them warm enough, or he burnt them out (the rears especially) before Hamilton in the race. Just at Korea: EVERYBODY started with the same full wet tyres and who burns them out first? Jenson Button. In FACT All evidence points towards Lewis being better able to manage the softer variety of tyres which require good tyre sensitivity/feel with corresponding steering and braking input.

BTW Guys... have all the Jenson fans ordered their Lewis Hamilton merchandise yet? Don't be disloyal now.. we can get your boy kicked out of our team. We have the team order go-ahead from MW :clap:

Please, i would like to see you send over a letter to Whitmarsh commanding him to kick Jenson out. Hell i would become a Button fan just to see if your arrogance and quite frankly idiocy will prevail.

Mclaren is Hamilton's team, remember? :D The Lion's den ring any bells? :) It's not hard to run a guy out of a lion's den. I actually do think that if all Hamilton fans come together it shouldn't be too hard to entice Hamilton to increase the pressure thereby making Jenson look even more dispensable, leading to his inevitable exit from our team.

I like saying that now..."OUR" team.. I wasn't in it for the team at the beginning but I think I like Mclaren even more now; we will have our very own little helper in the last two races...

hehe... Jokes aside, Jesnon was excellent this year. He made no significant driver mistakes, but those who were watching the races closely know that speed is STILL the ultimate weapon even with this year's regulations. Strategy can only take you so far. Speed can take you further. As I said from the beginning of this meaningless thread:

JENSON..........HAMILTON.....IS.... FASTER THAN YOU!!...........DO YOU UNDERSTAND??!!:whip::hehe:

This is the internet you know where a 1lb fish becomes a 10lb'er after all the 'professional fisherman' offer their 'most knowledgeable' opinions :wavey: . The guy was offering his opinion in a not so serious 'as if the world would stop turning' manner, seem's your taking this whole thing just a tad to serious laddy  .

The 'helper' isn't getting the idea though:

'I'll be fighting until it's no longer possible' - Button

Jenson Button is not giving up on his title defence despite lying fifth in the standings and 42 points off championship leader Fernando Alonso.

Button's title chances took a major hit at the Korean Grand Prix when he finished 12th, after suffering severe handling problems during the wet race. However, he said he would not give up on the championship over the final two races.

"I've always said that I will fight until it's mathematically impossible," Button told his official website. "Sure, looking at it written down on paper, you've got to admit it's a long-shot, but I'd regret it for the rest of my life if I chose not to go for it, and then circumstances transpired to give me a full run at the title.

"So, for me, the situation's the same: I'll be fighting until it's no longer possible for me. In Formula One, you just never know. It's totally possible that I could win at Interlagos, take home maximum points and have none of the other title contenders finish. If it's another wet race that could easily happen. Basically, you learn early on in this sport that it's not over until it's over."

He admitted that McLaren's performances at recent races had been inconsistent but was confident the car could compete with Red Bull and Ferrari in the right circumstances.

"Our performance has been a little bit up and down recently. We nearly had the pace to win in Monza, we looked faster than the Red Bulls in Singapore, and our race pace was very good at Suzuka. So it's difficult to say precisely where we are. In Korea, we looked extremely quick during all the practice sessions, only to see that pace narrow in qualifying and the race. So I think we have every reason to still feel optimistic."

Button revealed that McLaren would have another set of upgrades for the car in Brazil and was confident they could make the difference.

"For Brazil, we're bringing more updates to the car," he added. "That's something that's always impressed me about this team, the pace of development is just incessant and everybody is so determined to make the car faster. We're always trying out new parts, and making changes. We haven't backed off the development stream just yet, so, once again, we're hopeful of another step forward in performance for Brazil. It's a track that should suit us, so I'm already looking forward to it."

Translated: I don't want to help Lewis Hamilton. :D

Well, he's not going to like it if he's in front of Lewis in the next race and Martin comes on the radio to tell him 'you're out of the WDC mate'.

And if Jenson doesn't comply, kick him out...let's get someone to really push Lewis: Robert Kubica!!

Jenson knows the score; he has a slim chance of retaining his drivers title but that chance is hanging by a thread; he's just putting a brave face on not being able to retain his drivers title. I believe he'll support Lewis if push comes to shove. Even if Jenson is winning with Lewis behind and Mark Webber or Fernando Alonso in third place; his title has already disappeared going into Abu Dhabi, Lewis can still win the title so I believe he'll more over and let Lewis through, of his own accord; God forbid it be a team order! :P

Destroyed beyond recognition

I think it's time Jenson keeps his dignity and throw in the towel.

I actually feel sad for him. :crying: He just didn't deserve this embarrassment. :crying:

Yes he is actually pathetic in his excuses and his self worth as a driver, notice all the Jenson fanboys are silent, they have moved on to supporting Webber all of a sudden. What makes me luagh is the Jenson fanboys really though Jenson could help Lewis, what a crock of s*** that is. :banghead:

No team orders ,the same car as his team mate and everything avalible to him just like Lewis,i guess it really does come down to Jenson being second best to Lewis when it comes to F1.

Pathetic? Don't exaggerate. And like I've said many times on here before, at least wait until the end of the race, its unlikely, but you don't get points for qualifying.

Its just the fanboys airing their panties, pointless to even bother with a reply.
