whilst I don't like dodderers in the middle lane, neither do I like idiots up my bum. I have a trick for them. You turn your lights on so they think you're braking, and floor the accelerator at the same time. :hehe: they can't understand why they've dropped back.

I've thought about that but never done it, I also read one suggestion somewhere about pressing the brake with the left foot just enough to light the brake lights while also accelerating but since I tried left foot braking on a quiet road once I'm a bit reluctant to try that out on the motorway.

Generally if i see someone coming up fast behind me (I mostly drive at or just above the limit unless I'm in a hurry) I get out their way before they get to me or when I can without hindering my own progress too much, but if I have to wait a bit before pulling in and they're right up my bum flashing lights and stuff I'm not so compliant.

I would def get in a mess with the brake /accelerator thing. I tend to just let my feet do their own thing, they're pretty good. If I start thinking about what they're supposed to do , suddenly I can't even remember which peddle is which!

Yeah well that's the thing, your left foot thinks it's to press the pedal the way it usually presses down on the clutch.

Jeez, lots of road rage here.

Nah, not so much road rage, more road grumbles. Been on the other side too, in the car with a mate who does get road rage, doing 90mph about 3 or 4 feet away from the car in front, f'in scary and if i said anything to him he'd just got angry that i critisized his driving.

When I had my Evo my favorite trick was to pull in front of a middle lane hogger, turn the anti lag on and then play with the throttle a bit. 2 foot flames popping out of the exhaust soon got them to decide they wanted to change lanes

I'd say it's someone who sits there when not overtaking and could easily pull into the slow lane.

Unless the left lane was totally clear for a long stretch I'd sit at 70 in the middle, I wouldn't move in and out.

hmmm, that might irritate. :hehe: I might have to go past you and swiftly show you the way back to the left lane. CHOP!

Maybe that's just me being used to the 2 lanes we have around here and thinking the 3rd is a luxury there to be used to get past.
