Discuss the sport you love with other motorsport fans

Cooking answering a question with a question is rude... But really the only question that I am sure everyone would really like answered is... Why do you even care so much about McLaren??

Everything you brought up is nothing new for McLaren, they have changed sponsors engine suppliers in the past. They have been around for 50 years and whether you like it or not they aren't going anywhere so why don't you just stick to rooting for your toyboy and shut up!

I asked you exactly the same question I have discussed with someone else who actually knows a lot about the team. Just wanted to see if you had any clue about anything beyond 'head-in-the-sand' McLaren do not have any short term decisions to make

I certainly will not bother with you anymore

Surprisingly quick today in dry conditions, I must say. Brundle was saying McLaren looked like they were wearing rainbows everytime their cars exited the pits during Friday practice, testing airflow and what not, kudos to them for improving their problems with almost no time in between races!

I just hope the trend continues. Knowing the team, I'm certain they will.

Progress surely appears to have been made since that disastrous opener in Melbourne.

There is absolutely nothing fundamentally wrong with that MP4 -28, its fast in the dry and the wet

Its the drivers, specifically Jenson not able to get the best out of it or set it up

Perez fastest lap - take that

Button drove well today, but classic McLaren does what they do best - mess up their drivers. Looks like all their lead drivers are cursed, Mika, DC (when Mika was off colour), Kimi, Lewis, now its Buttons turn.

Are you really that ignorant? Did you not see Perez pit for new tyres on lap 55? Low fuel brand new rubber, rubbered in track... Simples!

No matter how one tries to spin it

MCLAREN WERE THE FASTEST CAR OVER A LAP AT MALAYSIA 2013

and collected 2 points,

(the history books tell us that statistically speaking this is a freak occurence)

Button was looking set for 5th until his pit stop. Perez was looking good until he got a slow puncture and had to pit on the penultimate lap.

The statistics won't tell the whole story but a detailed race report will.

Despite this there is definite progress from where they were 7 days ago.

You forgot that he also didn't have to look after that brand new rubber so he could destroy it in that 1 lap.

McLaren have made sterling progress since Melbourne, that is clear.

I feel, and so did Jenson, that 5th place was on the cards today. Potentially higher up than both Ferrari and Lotus. Damn that bloody pitstop!
