Indeed; doesn't matter what colours a member decides to wear, accusing a member of being blinded by any team colours is unfair. I find spankyham to be very knowledgeable and does his research before posting a considered response. Peng; if you don't have a valid counter argument, keep your fingers away from the keyboard; saying someone is blinded by red is tantamount to personal insult which is not allowed on this forum, as my mother used to say "if you have nothing nice to say... say nothing at all!".
.
Some members on this forum do it every other post especially towards anyone who actually likes Hamilton so i really don't get why you singled me out, Also i wouldn't consider it an insult it was more a fact that he was ignoring my posts because he clearly couldn't accept what was being written.
However what i actually was referring to by the words "blinded by red" was that his dislike for Hamilton and maybe even Button is making him refuse anything i post straight out without reading it properly, maybe i am wrong and he doesn't hate those drivers but every post i have ever seen him make is in a way belittling their achievements or abilities.
What counter argument could i give to someone who wouldn't read my posts but just replied with the same thing over and over? I asked if he could give a link to where it stated the WMSC accepted Turkey as an incident of team orders and even when a link was provided it still doesn't state the Turkey incident was accepted so i wouldn't say his "research" is that accurate.
He has written 1 post i would consider knowledgeable and well thought out which ended in a hugely biased conclusion for his favourite driver ignoring half the facts he himself wrote, Maybe he is an awesome guy i just think he gives too may facts that are actually his personal opinion and he ignores facts because they don't fit with his biased views.
In my eyes and i am hoping most peoples the overtakes in Turkey were actual racing and not 1 driver conceding a position for the other, the radio message could be seen 20 different ways if given to a conspiracy theorist but i already accepted that it could have quite easily been a team order.
But again even if the radio message was a team order at no time was the order actually followed and it resulted in an intense battle for 1st place.
As i have said before it is obvious teams use team orders anyone denying that is just stupid, and i would accept team orders that interfere with the result of a race if the teams wanted it even if i did feel it would ruin the sport and take a big chunk of competition away from winning the WDC.
I did want Ferrari to get a bigger punishment more because they broke a rule and ruined the Germany GP than because of team orders, but wasn't bothered when they got off with nothing.
So it isn't like i am against team orders and if they had happened in Turkey i wouldn't have even had this discussion but to me if you think the Button Hamilton Turkey incident at any point had team orders that were actually acted upon by the drivers, than i wonder if in your eyes have there ever been any overtakes by team mates or have they all been team orders?
