How funny is it listening to Jos Verstappen and Russell Atkins bag Schumacher?
Question: How many races did Verstappen and Atkins win between them?
Answer: NONE

Schumachers move on Rubens wasn't as bad as people are making out... Schumacher left Rubens enough room...Just!
Schumacher left Ruben a cars width and that is all he should leave him.

Maybe if Rubens was a little more aggressive throughout his career he would of won more than 11 races.

Verstappen and Atkins both say that Schumacher should retire.

I have 1 question for everyone.

Who is more likely to win another race or championship, Schumacher or Barrichello?

I will give you my answer: SCHUMACHER

yes i agree that schumacher has won more than anyone else, but this was just plain dangerous!, he knew exactly what he was doing and i respect michael for the all the great races, pole laps, championships!, but the move on rubens was crossing the law

Hey just wanted to confirm, Since Michael pushed Reubens all the way to the edge of the pit lane, was he still actually on the track? because then technically he didnt give room at all and literally pushed Reubens off the track (thankfully it was tarmac).

The overtake reminded me of Istanbul when Vettel was trying to overtake Webber and Vettel was just a few inches away from the grass but technically still had enough room (im talking prior to the crash of course)

Schumacher ‘sorry’

Posted in Motorsport by Sniff on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010

Michael Schumacher has said he is ‘sorry’ for strafing machine gun fire across the drivers’ press conference at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

‘On reflection my actions were too hard,’ said Schumacher on his website. ‘By spraying the entire room with countless rounds of intense gun fire I didn’t want to endanger anyone. If any of the other drivers had this feeling then I am sorry, it was not my intention to cause them to leap out of windows in a blind, terrified panic.’

The seven-time world champion initially denied that he had done anything wrong by hosing down a room of over 30 people using a series of rapidly discharging hand held weapons.

‘Immediately after the race I was still in the heat of it all,’ Schumacher’s statement continued. ‘But after I looked at the amount of furniture that had been cleaved clean in two by my intense bursts of hot lead, I have to say the authorities were correct to intervene.’

After analysing the way in which Schumacher inexplicably hammered at a crowded space with relentless machine gun fire, F1 stewards have decided to penalise the German driver by insisting that he leaves all belt fed weaponary at home for the next grand prix.

Gerhard Berger says that nobody would have complained about Michael Schumacher's move on Rubens Barrichello if it happened in his day.

Berger, who raced against uncompromisingly hard drivers such as Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet and Schumacher himself, says the racing was much tougher back in the 80s and 90s.

"We drove harder and more brutally," Berger told Austrian newspaper Tiroler Tageszeitung. "Three times a lap we drove each other into the walls without complaining. This was just part of it. We would have thought nothing of an action like Michael's against Barrichello."

Which is another piece of evidence for the reason of drivers perishing on track like flies going down. We don't need more of that, yeah the safety is improved tremendously but driving with some sense helps too. Give a Volvo to a maniac and it still becomes a death machine on the road.

I would happily step back to a time when Berger, Alesi, Prost, Senna and Mansell were racing because it was fun to watch as a spectator. Yes racing was tougher but also many drivers lost their lives including the great Senna himself and Roland Ratzenberger (sp?) in that fateful weekend at Imola in '94. Safety had to be improved and these new rules came into effect, Schumacher was over the line, he admitted that himself, no sport is worth a man's life.

Ah, so a woman's life is ok to lose in sports? :yikes::hehe:

Well, your statement was very general, i.e., any (no) sport, not just F1 :P
