Button will start 17th as he got in the gravel trap but did make it through. The top 4 in the championship will start from the bottom 8

What a balls up by the top teams. Makes for an interesting race tomorrow, especially if it is wet with the likes of Alonso and Hamilton coming through the field.
Like Eddie said, they should all have gone out and done 1 banker lap. But there you go, hindsight and all that.

McLaren and Ferrari screwed up big time but at least we can look forward to Alonso and Hamilton's comeback (a la Australia). At this rate the race is going to be unpredictable and that usually means it'll be a good one.

Well done Webber, some ballsy driving there. So Rosberg was about a second quicker than Schumacher in conditions the mighty German usually excels in. Is this more evidence of him making a mistake in the decision to return?

Webber goes on inters in Quali and gets pole by 1.3 seconds!!! Rosberg 2nd and Vettel 3rd (pitty Schumi 8th..sadly)

Bare in mind EagleF1 it is only his 3rd round, he'll be up their come Europe

That was an exciting qualifying session, and I am very happy with Williams' performance today, I wasn't expecting them to get into Q3, let alone P5 and 7. "The Incredible" Hulkenberg is really living up to his name now.

And what a berk EJ looked today with all those sweat patches on his shirt!!
