Wine is better with the right accompaniment. Beer on the other hand is fine just as is. I prefer wine.

Amazing! The first time I poured it into a glass, I was reminded of a box of bandaids. It gradually levelled off to smokiness. Matter of fact, there was a huge fire at a building down the street yesterday. I likened the smell in the air to a whiff of Laphroaig! When this settles down in the glass, I cannot imagine a smoother, more refined whisky. It just blows me away, how something that smells at times like a dirty ashtray, can be so satisfying. I have tried a few single malts, but nothing comes close to this. When I roll it around in my mouth, I feel like I am in Heaven! For a malt with such an intense beginning, the palate and finish are each a paradox!I could do on and on about the marvels of this single malt. Magical! Marvelous! Miraculous!

It's not as mind blowing, odd and downright wrong as an F1 fan that doesn't get excited by Spa.
As long as we're clarifying matters Andrew does like Bernie so there are things about F1 he enjoys.

Only one person in this thread is actually averse to wine, it seems (andrew).
And as for Spa, only one person has said they aren't as thrilled by Spa as others (LRW). I only said that Monza happens to be my favourite of all.
Just to clarify matters
