I've downloaded the update yesterday. quick list:

1. Turns on the museum.
2. Gives an online dealer for hard to find cars.
3. Increase the amount of money for races (until Jan sometime)
4. Some other online stuff (lounge)

I bought the Gran Turismo Poly Phonic Gran Prix car. (4.7 mill). Its hella fast, but not as crisp as an F1 2010 car.

After playing for a couple of weeks, I will give the game a 6 out of 10... It's entertaining enough for me to play, but along with everyone else, don't see why it took 5yrs. Dude must have been getting high every day..

Im at level 28 and all I have to look forward to is the extreme 4hr, 1000 mile, 24hr races..

Hopefully, updates can include new cars in the future? If not then this may be last go around with GT series. I cant sit and wait another 5yrs to get cars that are mostly decades old and not relevant..

The car I use win races is a 1989 Nissan 88rC something... It beats everything that is new.. Really?

Yes Greg those endurance races are a dog to complete/win. I cannot remember how I won them on GT4 but if I'm not mistaken it was a biatch perfecting all the setup among other things involved, very frustrating indeed. I should have stopped buying guns and just a PS3 and GT5!!

I have been a little disappointed with the game, it hasn't at all lived upto the hype; sure it looks pretty but I actually prefer GT4 on the PS2; GT5 had has five updates and each update can take upto 90 minutes to apply so sometimes a quick game is not on the cards, by the time the update installed I had lost interest in playing!

It's like you said, it makes developers sloppy about initial development cause they can just release updates later. I do echo the comments asking why it took them extra time though.

The thing is, when you are actually playing none of that stuff actually matters, or not to me anyway. I think i'm a bit of a GT fanboy though.

I'm impressed they got the Ferrari F10 in there, perhaps adding these 2010 cars (like the McLaren MP4-12, etc) caused the release delay.

One thing that does annoy me is the lack of new top end racing cars over GT4. No new prototypes or Group C cars, apart from the 908 Peugeot. I would have expected the Audi R15 to be on there... but hey, perhaps there might be updates released in the future adding a couple new cars?!

Totally agree only played it on my friends ps3 and didn't bother ordering it after i played it.It plays just the same and as you say looks pretty but they've been lazy in my view.A let down i'm affraid

The most disappointing thing in all is that since the game took 5 freaking years to develope, you expect to have some really newer sports and exotic cars, instead we are loaded with a bunch of older version cars, example, no Aston Marting DBS, but older DB9, no 2010-2011 Mustang 5.0 instead 2007 version, etc. They paid attention to details and then when its obvious, they don't, what the point of having in dashboard viewpoint and working windshield wipers yet the window doesn't get dirty? That was one nice feature of PGR is that your windshield will get dirty as you race and you can use your wipers to clean them. Now I am half way to B SPec because some of the cars I need (not want) is only available in B Spec, its just damn boring watching my AI driver making a fool of himself over and over. This is just an EPIC failure on Polyphony. I defintely won't be in a rush for GT6 next time its on the market, it probably be updated with a lot of cars from 2008

I'm doing the same B Spec nonsense to the same aim as you, it is frustrating, I didn't buy a management game, if you can call it that, constantly telling my driver to "pace up" and "overtake" is ridiculous. Five years in production and in my opinion have produced a game that is worse than it's predecessor on an inferior console!

I also don't understand the pricing system, we are talking about some of the cars are around $20,000 millio dollars, sh*t how long does it take to raise $20,000 million dollars.

I also don't understand the pricing system, we are talking about some of the cars are around $20,000 millio dollars, sh*t how long does it take to raise $20,000 million dollars.

Yeah that is kinda excessive, I am on level 23 on A Spec and level 12 on B Spec and I still only have 2.3m credits!

For those with the Formula GT Car (F1 Car), is it worth the $5,000,000 price tag? I know you need it for Formula GT Championship on Level 24 but can you use the car in other races or is it limited to only one series? Hate to spent $5,000,000 for a car limited to one series.

I can't be sure but I would have thought that anything that wasn't limited to a country, continent or car manufacturer type; you'd be able to enter! At least that was true in previous incarnations of the game, but thinking about it there aren't many free-to-enter races where anything goes, maybe the MR championship?
