Cant say Im surprised at this news. Disappointed Pat was involved. Cant believe Alonso knew nothing of this either! Interesting that he's the figure that's been involved in both recent scandals. Wasnt he the one with the emails on his laptop? He certainly knew what was going on there. Spose he'll get away with it though.

They won't change it. But there is now a certain amount of substance to any claim that Massa is the moral victor.

Flavio and Symonds. I'm happy they are gone and could this be the final nail in the coffin that seal's Renaults departure? I hope not but if it is I hope they will return as a team in the future.

bombshell, i did have a feeling this was true tho, i wondered if he kept his seat so long cause of black mail, it mustve been a hard decision to sack him, they knew this would happen

can i support them anymore?
will they be there next year?
will they crumble after the immediate loss of these too?

That's true, but would a team be willing to take the risk? Having had no history of cheating, this is very out-of-character for Symonds, so I personally would give him a second chance. However, if we look back over the years, Briatore has been involved in numerous things. Still, none of it is up to me.

If Renault won the race by crashing, then that's a very sophisticated plan. I don't believe that Flavio would be able to think up and execute such a plan by himself. It wasn't, in my opinion, just Flavio.
