Does this mean that Australia are off the hook?

We're not doing so well ourselves at the moment 179-5

Australia are nearly back in it but I still think this test will be a draw. The first test in the series was an example of England getting away with it because of the weather, we really should have lost that match but scraped a draw.

In terms of this match, Australia. Freddie Flintoff has managed to get us back in a comfortable position. If the match went the distance we'd have a decent shot at winning it but you never know how the 2nd innings is going to go.

However overall in the series, England are 1-0 ahead so a draw for Australia doesn't really help them.

True, I just mean that we can afford to draw more than they can, clearly a loss would be much worse for them.
