I like the look of those Vectra's but I would hit the Audi as they are VERY safe and if/when you do become a father the added safety features will be a blessing in disquise. Also mentioned above was the Volvo T5 which has always been a favorite of mine but your insurance company may frown on it with higher rates the the TDi Audi.

Good luck and as I mentioned take your time, do alot of research and you will hit one out of the park!

tex

I want my car to hug my child :) And thanx for that tip Tex, i never new that!!

well i am over 25 so i dont have that problem anymore. I had 3rd party insurance on a Skyline R32 GTS-t when i was 21 I then had a Silvia S13 when i was 22 then a R32 Skyline GTR when i was 23-26 only when i was over 25 did i start having comprehensive insurance on my GTR :irked:

as for fuel well its not cheap here, fluctuates from $1.10 - $1.40 per litre atm $1AUD is about 0.50 pence so what do you guys pay over there?

We pay about £1/litre. Cheapest at the moment is 99.9p/litre, but some near me have prices at 109.9p/litre Most of our fuel cost is thanks to fuel duty and VAT

have you even driven one?

There Kinda like being in a car which instead of suspension has sponges.

You go round a corner and the body roll, its terrible.

There good for Motorway Cruising if you get an auto but apart from that there not really a drivers car.

My wife complains about the fuel prices here in Kansas; they are cheap compared to the UK, prices range from $2.11 to $2.49 per gallon... UK drivers would be ecstatic!

$2.65 a gallon. $2.65 = £1.59, 1 gallon = 3.785lt, hence 42 pence a liter :P

LOL 42pence that's less than HALF what we pay no wonder you can afford to buy 10Litre V10 engines
