Well, ordinarily I'd think so, but he's full-time with Five Live now, so it could be a different story.

I was thinking that would make it easier. They have a surplus of folks for the FiveLive stuff, so moving Anthony to the TV Coverage for one week couldn't hurt.

I actually think they'd be more likely to drag one of the BBC TV team in to the box. DC, hopefully. I wouldn't mind hearing Lee commentate, mind you.

I'd prefer to see Lee...

So DC can commentate and she can be substitute pundit :thumbup:

Great idea! :D

Just let him keep Eddie Jordan's. EJ won't be missed.

Gazza did a great job yesterday and today, I thought he had left Force India though recently? Sign him up BBC! :)

Well, MG's performance today has settled it for me. I'd much rather have him than EJ. His technical insight is better, his knowledge and experience are more up-to-date and he's generally less-biased and makes only relevant points.

The BBC also stepped up another level today with Jake, David and Mike in the pit lane. They got some good interviews from people and I think, for new fans, a lot of it would be very helpful in understanding the sport. ITV made a huge mess of presentation from the pit lane, but the BBC are using the same concept and just doing it so much better. The fact that they're moving from one end of the pit lane to the other and taking in everything that's going on is greatly appreciated. :)

I thought it was similar to an episode of Scooby Doo this morning. Mike, DC and Jake walking about uncovering the mysteries of the F1 pitlane.
Either that or they seemed to be on a random walk and were bumping into people randomly "oh hello Pat Symonds"

Jake: Now let's see who you really are mister! *unmasks Pat Symonds* why it's Nigel Stepney the exiled Ferrari mechanic!
Stepney: And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you interfering kids!
Coulthard: *imitating Scooby* Good one Gazza!

I'm serious though Gazza would be excellent to have, not just as a technical analysist, he was excellent with ITV during races, hopefully they'll use him tomorrow for that role as well.

He was! It was very good. And I take back what I said about DC. IM enjoying his contribution too. Non of the bias i thought he might bring with him. Good job

MG was mint, he proves true insight into the technical side... a good compliment to DC's driving experience. Surely they must be considering trying to get him in full time? If Jordan can't be arsed turning up then he might as well eff off entirely.
