Hamilton will be given a grid penalty in the next race if he attempts to get pole.
Hamilton will be given a penalty if he attempts any overtaking
Hamilton will get a penalty if he has breakfast on day of the race as this may give him an advantage in the race
Hamilton will get a penalty if he turns up at next race

please add on what they could do next to stop Lewis from winning the title

What I can't wait for is to find out what penalties are handed out after Brazil.

Not surprising Bill that you agree with the Hamilton penalty but you say punting everyone at turn 1? he didnt bang wheels with anyone.... he braked late but thats normal for the hole shot right?

whats your view on the Bordais Massa penalty? guess that was fair as well

Hamilton didn't charge into turn one, on the inside and push everyone else off the outside? As I said, I think Kimi should have turned in anyway and ripped the wheels off both McLarens. In your world of racing, all a driver has to do is run up the inside and not brake. That is called a block pass, and is perfectly fine in motorcross. Hey, Motorcross F1, that would be cool. People would die every single year, but it would be cool to watch. Oh wait, I'm sorry....Hamilton does no wrong in your eyes. In fact, you have never said he has every made a mistake, he is in fact perfect in your eyes, it's either the team left him out on bad tires, or the stewards are out to get him or, oh yeah this one is my favorite, the team didn't tell him there was a pit lane red light.

Yeah no sweat man...I see your point. :bs:

Bill thats the bullpoo, i have actually said he made a mistake here, the difference is the mistake was not worthy of a penalty!
and what of when there is ACTUAL first corner contact with massive prangs, why not give each driver involved a grid penalty for the next race??

you see how stupid your argument sounds!

now thats :bs::thumbup:

Now there you go again, can't just disagree but have to disagree and get all emotional. It's all good, to be expected from you when your hero is penalized for trying to make up for a bad start in one corner. Strange thing is, even the SPEED commentating crew, who are without question card carrying members of the Hamilton cheerleading team...said repeatedly that Hamilton blew it on turn one and then blew it again forcing his way past Massa. McLaren, and Hamilton himself said prior to that they didn't need to win this race, would be playing it smart this time...unlike last year. I wonder if Ron was yelling in the radio...YOU DON'T NEED TO DO THIS...NO..NO..NONonononooo...aww dammit...ok, wait for the entire field to go by. Do you think he looked over at HammyDaddy with a 'what was he thinking' look?

My argument may sound stupid to you..but your driver looks stupid to the rest of the world. Last year, he blew it in so many ways it was practically foreplay. This year...he's a little better, but not much. Sure makes for a fun season to watch though...far better than the Schumi domination years when a great driver piloted a very good car methodically towards championship after championship. I will tell you this, if Schumacher were driving the McLaren this year and last year...McLaren would already have two championships locked up. Schumi was a robot though, not fun to watch and I didn't much care for his smirk everytime he won...but you know, he did earn that smirk. Hammy...not so much. This may be his year though....we shall see. I predict one of those mid pack drivers that he has pushed off the track are going to return the favor..and cost him the WDC. You heard it here first.

emotional? U U TEE EFFFF?

mate im not saying he didnt f*** up the start, no doubting it, but he should not have been given a drive through for it! that was rediculous! Stop acting like it was something we have never seen before at the start of a GP :banghead:

and on the Massa move? that was clean as you can get by Lewis. Massa on the other hand was acting the fool that time! one would and rightly could argue it was a deliberate move out of desperation by Massa something coincidentally drivers close to him have been banned for in the past! yet Massa comes out of the GP weekend with a 2 point gain no thanks again to the Stewards... thats 7 points this season he has earned while in the showers after the race!

Congrats Massa

I dont understand why so many are against Lewis. Seriously.
Jealous just 'cause he's young and new to F1, but yet he's in one of those best teams?
Oh please. Get a life people.

Ah yes, the ever overused argument of the devoted fan. Anyone who does not like their hero, must be jealous. It could have nothing to do with his refusal to obey team orders in regards to Alonso last year. Nothing to do with his arrogance in declaring himself equal to Schumacher and then Senna this year..prior to winning even a single WDC but after single handedly losing one last year. It could have nothing to do with his forcing other drivers off the track on straights like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65dmyU9AmG0

I mean seriously, why would a McLaren have to force a Toyota off the road to make a pass stick? The point being, it is great that you have a hero and it is always a good thing for any sport when fans have favorites that they are passionate about....but to claim jealousy when someone is not a fan of your hero is certainly a stretch in this case. There are plenty of reasons not to like Hamilton, though you may choose those same reasons as proof of your admiration. If everyone liked the same drivers it would certainly be a boring season.

We have this kind of incident at turn 1 in every race (even from barcelona)
Hamilton done nothing wrong apart from brake late which is not a crime you see that 30 times a race
if you got a penalty for something wrong on turn 1 5+ cars would be in the pitlane taking the penalty every race

Massa got a much earned penalty for punting lewis like he did. And lewis got a much earned penalty for punting everyone at turn one. I think the stewards actually had a race they didn't screw the pooch on. Had they penalized lewis and not Massa I would have been the first on the Ferrari International Assistance bandwagon...as it is, Hamilton was frustrated over completely pooching the start and over drove his first turn ability level and Massa was just saying I can't let him by me, I can't, I won't, PUNT....something I wish Kimi had a little more of. Personally, I would much rather that Kimi refused to budge on turn one and let Lewis take himself out of the race..which a number two driver should be prepared to do in order to help his team. Instead, Kimi blinked...as he so often has done lately when Hamilton overtook him. I'm starting to believe the hamilton quote of Kimi not having any balls.

Hamilton didn't touch anybody (nor did Kovalainen). The television footage proves that Ferrari and their drivers are a bunch of liars with no honour.

Kimi Raikkonen isn't a liar in this picture. Are you stilll spewing it wasn't Lewis Hamilton. Now how bad will you feel if this year it is Massa and Lewis Hamilton misses out again. :hehe:

Because it is a glorious moment in history. Not more because a Ferrari driver won, but more because of the fact that he won against very much all odds and by a single point.:clap::clap:

Wat?

You beat a rookie in his 1st year in F1 with a slightly better or equal car by one point.

how were the odds against you?

Hamilton botched up the first corner, which did deserve some imposition, granted, but Hamilton did not 'force' his way past Massa. Massa completely out-braked himself, so much so that Hamilton was able to take the corner as normal. To be honest, although he did not need to win the race, he needed to get past Massa, so as he could finish behind both Ferraris are still win.
