Ewman, how was the concert? If it's relatively good, I might try and get some tickets for the O2 or Wembley...I wasn't old enough to go to their concerts the last time around (I think I was 4 last time they toured
).
Oh, and I love Roger's Happiness album
Have you ever listened to any of The Cross's stuff? I've lost all my tapes (not that I have a tape player any more). Tis v. awesome stuff though!
Hey, im just back.
Yes I've waited outside the SECC till 2am in the morning (lucky im 5 mins away).
For the first time Queen have played Scotland since 1978 - I gotta say, it kicked bottom.
Rodger buggered off early, but I met Paul Rodgers and his Wife, who were really nice to my friends little brother (he's only 8 and he was rocking out - legend!)
And then we spoke to Brian who "told us off" for waiting in the freezing cold. It really is cold in Glasgow tonight. That was his fault for taking so long - we were told having a massage... lucky for some. I didn't wear a jacket, there goes my health.
Sadly my mobile is pretty crap for taking photos at night, and we met em through a big metal fence so didn't get pics of that - but did get some cool shots from inside. I was quite close.

^ These two are when Brian sang "love of my life" - he was in tears by the end of it.

^ Rodger also appeared lol

Them during "Say it's not true"

Brian during his guitar solo - which was mainly Brighton Rock.
The set consisted of all the classics - they opened with Hammer to Fall which was surprising, they played the typical Paul Rodgers stuff, All Right now, Bad Company that sorta thing. And the stuff they played off the new album aint that bad. Granted it isn't as good as their other stuff and it wouldn't sell without the name. C-lebrity is pretty catchy!
I say you have to try get tickets Selcouth_Feline it really was impressive. Ok they aren't essentially Queen but they are worth seeing. Furthermore Freddie does some vocals on songs, it's great.
But, watch out - when I was waiting at the end got speaking to these guys from Argentina who had been on EVERYDATE of the tour this year and they are going to down to London to both the 02 and Wembley Arena

I have heard some of The Cross's stuff. I can't say I have any downloads or cds of them though. My friend has them tho and he's madly into all things Queen. I think the low point for Rodgers was that Nazi song he made in the 90s... that was funny yet disturbing.
