So i started watching the race (via the delayed thing you can do on the BBC site), then sacked it off after literally a handful of laps to watch the MotoGP.

Seems like the only interesting thing i missed was Raikkonen shouting back at his team which someone posted on facebook anyway.

I think they should just cancel the rest of this joke of a season now that the titles are decided. It's not like almost all of the fans care any more.

You really need a hug, dont you Scotty....

The remnants of my remaining support for Kimi almost dissapeared after this GP. That was a pr!ck move, fighting so hard with Grosjean...I didn't see him take that much risk with anyone else before. Kinda like he doesn't fancy Grosjean much for some reason, maybe Grosjean just comes across as an annoyance (albeit a quick one) to him.

Still very much hope he beats Alonso next year though.

Well, Grosjean has kindov shown Kimi up of late. Stupid though to block a team mate who's on a completely different strategy.

Yeah what Kimi did yesterday was not what you'd see in a champion. I mean, why would you shove your team-mate off the road? Kimi should've just pitted in

He was fighting, it's instinctive to defend being passed, perhaps he should have moved out the way; but we don't know when he was actually told Romain was about to pass him.

I look forward to Grosjean next year, my opinion of him has massively swung from "he shouldn't be here" to "this guy may be a genuine title contender one day". And I look forward to it because his racing is rather spectacular, the guy has a bucket load of speed and bravery to do some of the moves he makes on people.

Talking of bravery, that double pass by Perez was one of the highlights of the race for me!

Yup, agreed. It's always been clear he's had the speed. But this season he's blended it with maturity. The carnage at Spa last year seems a long while ago now.

Future champion? :scratchchin:

... that doesn't change the fact that when you ignore orders from a team that has supported you so well you are pretty much dumping on them publicly...

Massa basically ignored team orders, yet there were many who praised him for "driving for himself"!!

...Vettel did let slip some stupid phrases which shows he's still an ignorant kid. "Even though we did nothing wrong" was the hilarious, he must be a bit of an idiot to say that and a bigger idiot if he actually meant it...

Since English is not his first language, consideration must be given to the fact that the syntax is very different in the two languages!
"We did nothing wrong" could refer to the fact that he hasn't been involved in any accidents / penalties, etc.

Whether or not we "believe" there is something Red Bull/Newey have done, none of us can prove it and the FIA hasn't found anything!!
Speculating further just seems to result only in anger and frustration!

Time to accept that this was a Red Bull / Vettel season, and look forward to next year!

We did nothing wrong means 'I did not rob my teammate of a win and subsequently get booed by fans. The fans did not finally wake up to how the fairy tale RBR is selling involves not giving an inch to the sucker Webber. Afterall I am now as great as Fangio therefore everyone can now see the truth of ze whole matter'

That's your interpretation of "we did nothing wrong"! There is no way to know what is happening behind closed doors!
We may not like that Red Bull seems to be more behind Vettel at the cost of Webber; but, really? What would you do? You've got
the opportunity to make history with the youngest driver to accumulate title after title, wouldn't you take it? I know I would!!

I think the point is that someone said 'we did no wrong' was a sign that he still doesnt get why people booed, they thought he did wrong by robbing Webber and winning a 4th WDC doesnt make it right and prove the booers wrong.

Winning a 4th WDC does not change things magically and make people say 'we were wrong about him, he is obviously a true great'. More like he is still the same person albeit with an extra WDC

he didnt seem to get this going by his podium talk
