Yeah, the bit about pitstop practice is true I think, but I don't think the guys/girls who practice or even monitor the pitstops are the same ones who think up ideas to develop the car.
Hi this is my first post in here as i just joined the forums!
In Denmark we have Nikolas Kiesa and Tom Kristensen as the studio clerks when F1 is on, That Kiesa guy knows pretty much all there is to know about F1. Last Sunday he said that Mclaren had done about 800 pit stops prior to Silverstone to get rid of all the stupid mistakes they have had through the start of the season, and averageing 2.5 on tyre changes seems great... except that the car now can be considered rubbish compared to the rest of the front runners...
