I cant wait for sunday... actually friday practise!

I just started my new job and requested sundays off. I told him I go to church. LOL The church of auto racing.

Hilarious...I work now from Sundays - Thursdays....but joining a new employer in a months time, Mon-Fris.

This Sunday the Aussie GP is around 2pm local time for me, so my car is set to mythically break down and my mechanic has agreed to provide me a fake receipt.

Ahhh, the influence of F1. :cloud9:

^^ so in short, F1 is detrimental to the productivity of our Sunday work force, and it's influence in our day to day lives will make fans lie and even become reclusive for a few hours.

Amen brother!!

Not cool, once was funny enough, twice was taking it too far!

no no, twice is still good.

Interesting Stat

There have been 42 retirements at the Australian Grand Prix from 110 starters in the last five years

I knew that there has been lot of DNF's in Aus but i didn't think it was that much. Few years ago there were only 8 cars that finish the race i think.

yeah, its usually carnage at Melbourne; i think also Canada gets a lot of dnf......

great, unpredictable races; not really a lottery, which is great...
Melb somewhat reminds me of Imola.

I think given the tracks layout, weather and first chance to use the new Kers and rear wing stuff, this first race could see a kobyashi, Heidfeld, Kovaleinen podium or something like that. It SURELY has to be quite a hectic rush, especially if rain appears.
