I cant remember a time when i've been to the boat and something didn't need doing

You'll need to upload the picture mate.

It is a fixer-upper, a lick of paint and a bit of TLC +an engine and she will be all OK. (in other words she ain't going to be wowing people in the Monaco Harbour lol)

Silly question but do boats need an MOT or the like?

I heard an old timer once say a boat is a hole in the water you keep throwing your money into! Enjoy it!
