I can not believe Merc screwed hamilton with the race strategy

I think the yardstick is until Lewis tweets Rosberg's car set up, I don't believe Mercedes is screwing Hamilton with the race strategy.

It's funny how many people WANT this to be the case simply to prove their point about their beliefs, manufactured or not. Move on people, everyone is in a better place, let's just enjoy the season unfolding.

and Jabber, your joke is funny, and I laughed, but only Lewis fans are allowed to make inflammatory jokes, just like the way only black people cat say certain things about blacks. GOT IT?

No evidence whatsoever that Lewis was screwed on strategy. Those days are happily long gone :)

Altough...Ferrari knew they would need to stop 4 times and went out and raced accordingly

Mercades keep seeming to think they can do the less of the stop strategy and "manage" their way through it

Time for a new approach

Yes maybe a wrong strategy in hindsight, but not screwed as in given the duff one of two options, prime one going to team mate.

Idd, When times are hard and were being overtaken by a Sauber just think "At least were not still at Mclaren"

Then being overtaken by a McLaren and thinking "At least were not in a Marussia"

McTooned: 6

Still all good, thank you very much.

I'm confused are we saying Nico has got a cat, cat, or is this the forum filter kicking in and changing another word to cat?

We were talking about sausages in another thread...

Oh god, sorry I made a joke about the holy ones. I better go correct myself by applying a brick to my brain.

I've not read everything that came before this post, so I apologize in advance if I am repeating, but...

It seems like Mercedes are doing the same as the previous couple of seasons, start off reasonably well and fall backwards after the first three or four races, with the same issue, extreme tyre wear. For all the changes in personnel over the summer, Mercedes still have exactly the same issue as previously. Also it appears to me that Mercedes are going for glory, setting up the car for pole laps and hoping that it works for the race unlike Ferrari, Red Bull and Lotus.

Don't think that's the case. in Nico's video blog, he was genuinely surprised that the car was the quick on Saturday as they specifically set it up for Sunday's pace. Which in itself is doubly troubling.

I've not seen that blog, either way, Mercedes look to be slipping backwards like previous seasons, Ross Brawn seems to have lost his touch, he's forgotten how to build a winning car!

Oh the car's fast! Just won't perform on high fuel and fragile tyres. Check out that blog! They were working all through practises for race pace and were genuinely surprised at quali pace. They have issues agreed. Spain was a shocker, but the previous four were better than expected and Monaco should be good. They're still up on this point last year by a considerable amount....but a lesser amount than Mclaren are down on this time last year :D
