His "I've just been overtaken by a Williams" outburst made me chuckle. It's not a bad thing - some of the greats have been overtaken by a Williams. Schumacher, Senna, Prost - a Williams has overtaken them all at some point.

It is a bad thing when neither Williams made it into Q2

I'm trying to cheer folk up here Lew. :irked:

I'm not trying to cheer folk up. For once. :whip:

I got told I'm not nice or positive enough so I'm trying to find the silver lining and do my bit to keep this a happy place. It was going fine until someone came along and took a giant dump on my efforts.

Conclusion...Merc have no clue on how to solve their issues. :(

From an outside perspective it seems to be a fundamental balance issue with the where the fuel tank is located. Probably achieved the optimum pace with almost no weight in the tank, but come race day the car is all out of sorts with the weight distrubution changed, and this change also eats up the tyres. But I would've thought Mercedes would've found a solution to something like this...it's pretty fundamental. Relocating the fuel cell to achieve a more optimum race pace. Ah well.

Given the staggering problem Merc seem to have with the tyres, it's amazing that Nico Rosberg still managed to cling on to 6th by the end of the race in Spain. Well done that man.

Well he did say he wasn't going to go from 1st to 9th again. Good to see he stood by his promise.

Nico is such a likeable guy, I don't understand why Hamilton fans haven't turned against him yet. :hehe:

Hamilton fans are fans of any other guy who's not a backstabbing sonofab**ch, with some serious driving talent to boot.

And Rosberg certainly has the talent. The was clear straight away from Bahrain 2006. That guy needs a winning car. It's been a long time...

I can't stand Nico - he's such a lying snake. All nice and bubbly in front of the camera, but as soon as the cameras are off, he stabs poor Lewis in the back :yikes: Not fair! :nono:

Yep, I've not seen Lewis look 'slow' compared to his teammate like he did in Spain...not even during his time with Alonso!
