That's excellent. I'm a big proponent of everyone being allowed their opinion no matter how we may disagree with it. I am on the other hand very much against opinions being passed off as facts and your expectations confused me as to which was being presented as which. Now we know.
As he drives for the team that I am supporting at this time, I suppose I should be a little more pro but, well, he has not earned it and unless he does something soon, I suspect that he will move on from Mclaren when his contract expires this year.
I am curious to know what he'd have to do to "earn" your support
My support? Well, I believe that drivers have more responsibility than only winning. They are, in effect, ambassadors for the sport and their teams, and IMHO Lewis is very poor in that regard. Perhaps age will mellow him but he does seem rather spoilt to me. As to his driving, well, he is aggressive to a fault, even towards his own team mate. But on that point I must admit to looking forward to him and Massa thumping each other with baseball bats at every opportunity. That he is a talented driver is IMHO unquestionable; that he needs to tame that talent, well, that is moot.So you're either using a very warped yardstick or you're your bias is showing and I'll keep that in mind when I read more of your opinions should you decide to stick around.
Bias... hmmm, what is bias but an opinion. As I hope that I have demonstrated my opinion is not simple "anti lewis propaganda" but it is at this time negatively charged towards him (despite him driving for the team that I support). I sincerely hope that he gets to grip with himself and does well...

"I don't want to be part of a forum where everyone has differing opinions." Boom...
