The nose looks better than any other car so far, its stepped but its one I dont mind looking at - some of the others (McLaren especially) are horribly ugly

I didn't see the face, until you mentioned it.


To be honest I have not liked the looks of F1 cars, since the early 90's Ferrari and McLaren. If the 2014 cars allow for competitive racing, I don't care if they are butt-ugly.

I agree, beauty comes from performance. Apart form the JPS I can't really get orgasmic over how the cars look. Quite like some, don't like some, but not overly bothered.

Scarbs agrees with me on the both the size of the F14-T sidepods and size of the intake area

I don't like it. The front is alright, but the way the nose goes lower, looks slightly odd. and the top intakes are very triangular. How are they going to get air passing to the floor of the car?

There's no doubt this nose is designed to give front grip. You could surmise that if you feel you have enough rear grip, you will then focus on front grip. Ferrari's small narrow side pods (in a year when, in theory, side pods should get bigger with the intercooler) will feed the coke bottle well. I can only guess that Ferrari feel they have plenty of rear grip.

Still the big question for me is, how are Ferrari dealing with radiators and intercoolers with smaller sidepods than last year. Air/water intercooler is still a possibility.
