Seriously, who would've thought it, especially reading how this thread started out: Will Lewis hand Jenson's bottom to him? Who cares we'd rather discuss Luca Badoer v Marco Gene.

Well to be fair, Button and Hamilton are both brilliant, but differently, so eventually that argument just goes in circles. Marc Gene is a racing driver and Luca Badoer sort of...Isn't. So there's a lot more scope for actually coming to a conclusion

Maybe, Marc certianly has more pedigree though - he won Le Man's last year (with his team, not single handedly), although he probably would've also been worse than fisi. But he probably knew where the speed limiter button (no pun intended) was. Interestingly Ferrari approached Hulkenburg but he said no,

Pedro de la Rosa has been poor, and even Schumacher has struggled, both of those got pre season testing.

You guys are trying to change the subject I see. A telling sign of imminent defeat
Well since you only just realise that this was a fight that Button cannot win You can jump ship and join us. We all win that way. I mean my heart just can't bear the feeling of pity for the Button's fans after the season is done... All the tears. Lets just all turn into Hamilton fans. How does that sound?

I don't think Jenson is something to worry about for Lewis, on the other hand Mark and Alonso are at this stage of the season. The WDC is the focus here.... :whip:

Wow, it must suck to be you. So much self-doubt about your opinion you need constant re-enforcement to maintain it. Listen pally, if you seriously think it's going to seriously upset any of Button's fans that Lewis came out on top (Assuming he does) in the first of 3+ years of their pairing, you're out of your fragile mind. What is it with you Hamilton fanboys and your inexplicable hatred for Jenson Button? You are aware aren't you that Lewis likes Jenson, and indeed looked up to him for years earlier in his career? Are you so insecure about Lewis's ability that you have to attack any threat to his (So-far, largely imagined) dominance?

Jenson is the best team mate Leiws has had in F1
Alonso-psychologically unstable, unable to cope with fast team mate-screwed the team over
Heiki-sweet but too slow
Jenson-perfect! fast, pushes Lewis, copes with competion, differing skill set and sorted in the head department.

Factual. He took a motorhome door off when Lewis went quicker. He still has a thing about Lewis which interferes with his racing. He blackmailed his team. And all because Leiws went fast  How else should that be said. Psychology is part of racing. They have sports psychologists in the teams , so its no good pretending it doesnt happen. Some drivers cope better than others. Kimi copes well Alonso doesnt.

So your stating that Alonso "took a motor-home door off" - well, I'm calling you out - provide proof. You've stated this is a fact - provide the actual evidence. No hearsay - hard, concrete proof - because you've stated this is a "fact"

Another pretty nasty and unwarranted attack on him with the "blackmail" comment. He and Pedro sent the emails which were evidence of cheating, to the correct authorities. He wasn't the only whistle blower, I mentioned Pedro and there was also Kimi who revealed how, during his years at McLaren, they used listening/de-scrambling devices to listen in to Ferrari's private communications.

The one thing I can say in Fernando and Lewis's favor is that they don't seem to need to take their battles anywhere but the track.

No the black mail was after Hungary where he said to Ron, Favour me or ill show these eMails to the FIA. Ron countered his threat by going to the FIA about the eMails. This was well documented during the whole Spy BS, as if you have not heard of this? Pedro did not blackmail McLaren where did you pull that from? Once the emails were made aware to the FIA he of course had to come forward to explain.

Yeah and you think Ferrari dont listen in on other team radios as well? ALl teams do infact Mika Salo said the exact same thing when he filled in for MS in 99, that they would listen in to Mika's communications with McLaren. All apart of the sport, apparently just like your beloved team orders are rampant

It wasnt whistle blowing. He used blackmail. "Give me what I want or I tell"
On hearing what he was up to it was actually Ron who told the FIA.

This is it? This is what you've offering as "proof" of a fact? A blog of a 3rd person hearsay by someone who wasn't ever there? Please tell me that you don't accept that as the measure of fact/truth. So the truth about this is it is not a fact, as you claimed but you repeating a blog of hearsay. I think there's a blog somewhere that reports that Elvis is alive and well, in Adelaide I believe - is that also a fact according to you?

It wasnt whistle blowing. He used blackmail. "Give me what I want or I tell"
On hearing what he was up to it was actually Ron who told the FIA.

I'm calling you out again - proof (and by proof, I mean real actual concrete proof) please no more blogs of hearsay. What did he demand? And prove your claim that Fernando linked that demand in some way to what he would do with the evidence he had of McLaren's cheating.
