The guy is gone, if we attack him personally, then there's been no lesson learned.

He got what he deserved... That's what you get when you have a <EDITED>WB on forum...

What's a "<EDITED>WB"?

Sounds nasty. Wouldn't want to meet one of those up a dark alley! :hehe:

You and me both! I have an appointment with a sergeon reg a knee injury that's been around for a while...so best of luck to us.

I'm sure you'd come through fine, in circumstances like I reckon belief is the most important. It's basically the driving engine for the road to recovery.

Hi Hammer, I didn't see this. Wishing you all the best with your surgery.

Yeah I genuinely am a positive guy. I do love a good punch line - so the one that I have found from this is: "Whew - they found something. At least it wasn't all in my head! Oh wait..." Boom-tish! :P

Yeah definitely go through your health insurance and go through a private hospital. You could be waiting years for surgery in the public realm.
In the mean time i suggest looking at eating some healthy supplements like fish oil to help with your memory. They may or may not make a difference but even if you're being pro active it will be good for your well being.

I received the following email from my private health insurer nib who I pay 80 freakin' dollars per month for.

I can confirm that Basic Saver only has a low level of hospital cover. Basic Saver $250 per admission excess capped at $500

The following are the ONLY services covered in a private hospital:

- Accidents

- Removal of teeth (including wisdom teeth)

- Knee, hip & shoulder investigations (arthroscopies)

- Removal of tonsils

- Removal of appendix

- Minor hernia surgery

Restrictions and Exclusions apply to this cover.

For more information please visit Basic Saver http://www.nib.com.au/home/newtonib/Products/Pages/Forbothofyou.aspx

To determine if any benefits at all are payable to any hospital procedure we do require the Medicare item number. If you have an item number for the procedure can you please supply this so we can investigate this further for you.

Please note that if you were to upgrade your cover a 12 month waiting period would apply.

I am paying a bit more because opted to get the 30% something-or-rather at tax time.

But still for $80 per month, I think it is a bit of a rort... :irked:

I don't think I'll be going through the private way.

I did a day's filming for some film-making students attending the drama school I trained at. It's been a long day, and I'm VERY tired now.

I knew the answer would be rich in wit, though. But whether it be am-dram or security cameras, we all have to start somewhere! :P

There's always the option of dropping your pants - I think they're paying pretty well if you can get it up :whip:
