Whats the issue then? There is no PROOF they are only allegations ie assumptions and you know what they make right?

It was more of a principle of the matter point, think it was f1er who said one incident was punishable the other wasn't etc, so the one that was punishable must be worse, I said that's not necessarily the case, of course my reasons could've been what your saying that we don't actually know what happened, but I didn't want to make that point.

Take the current context out of what I said, its a generic statement.

 My point all along too. Not to mention the fact that this author has a history of being sued for libel.

Do you know the outcome of any of his libel cases ?
you can be sued and win the case meaning that it's true !

Maybe Mr Alonso will sue for defamation of his good name or maybe he will keep quiet not wanting all the sordid details to come out

one things for sure unless it goes to court we'll never know

The most unsporting event observable that occurred at Ferrari last year was Massa being bumped by Alonso on the pit lane entrance. So I'm in agreement, I'd love to see a competitive Massa give something back. I fear through that Massa has half a season's grace period before Ferrari give up and replace him. I don't think they'll tolerate another full season of his performance last year.

Why? there were MANY pit lane overtakes last year...

If they're going to be racing... then let them race. If they are going to be cutthroat, then let them scratch each other all around. If Massa cant get around his tire heat issues, and Alonso found a way to get it done... then s***-out-of-luck for Massa and viceversa?

They are either both racing all out, or they aren't. That's the way i see it.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Can yo please confirm this message.........................or tell Alonso that if HE cant overtake his teammate HE is s*** outta luck :hehe:

the DOUBLE STANDARD

^ Not really, the argument is relative, assuming Ferrari are keeping two race (f1) drivers for the season, then its a matter of a balancing act between the two to try and get the maximum end result.

over team mates during a safety car period? That move set the tone for the whole season.

Alonso shouldn't of had to pull that on Massa in the pits. No instead Domenicali should of told Massa to get the f :censored: out of Alonso's way once they were out on the track. Alosno almost won it for Ferrari, should of won it, had Donenicali made Alonso number 1 from the word go.

Quite a few drivers may have won it if they were made number one from the word go whilst driving for one of the top teams. But if you cant beat your team mate fair and square maybe you arent fit to be a true world champion.

:wavey: Lewis 07 :wavey: then Ron should have told Zoe to f :censored: k OFF after he KILLED the team with his antics :wavey:
analogies are best left alone, they sting both ways
Take away Zoes points he got FAIRLY over Lew or vice-versa

I'm no Alonso fan but I'm gonna stick up for him here.
Massa wasn't meant to be pitting, between the exit of the hairpin and the pit entrance Massa messed up and found himself on the wrong side of Alonso who was pitting and Massa had no option but to take to the pitlane to avoid getting in Alonsos way. The pit crew were out with Alonsos tyres ready.
Alonso should've maybe not been so eager to pass Massa before the pit entrance but he didn't steal the pitstop from him.

I'm just curious and I mean no disrespect too anyone here but if Lewis was not the 'supposed target' would we be pushing almost 10pg's?? Hey honest question as inquireing minds wanna know. :P

and that's bad because... ??
as i remember, EVERY passing move made by Kobayashi in the Suzuka race was rash and ruthless. Nobody complained.

You just dont get it do you, we are talking about a move in the pitlane when Massa had right of way for the pit stop. Team mates... key word. You cant go all on about team mates racing fairly when Youre all for Germany 2010, it's hypocritical of you!

Unsporting

i dont know about this... in such case all moves in the pit lane were unporsting. And there were way too many. I dont specially enjoy racing in the pit lanes... its dangerous and uncalled for... but if everyone does it... then everyone does it. Can't be happy when some do it and compliment their "racing spirit" then label as unsportsmen the others.

see above, again you dont get it.

I agree with bud and when I saw that I as :censored::censored: !! That kinda crap should not have happen in F1 especially on the pit entrance crossing the 'SOLID WHITE LINE' which is I believe is an infraction of the rules (maybe now but not then but that does not mean it was right or even SMART).

I do NOT in any way support Alonso so I'm torn when it comes too results :( ?!?!?!

the reasons... reasoning, and anything else does not matter. Its all about what the crew want to have said about their rival. Key word: rival.

:yes: Kovalainen should not have moved. We'd have a real fitting champion in 2008.

I posted something like this before, but, I think it bears saying again. I'm so looking forward to Felipe winning and Ferrari not ordering him to move over and let Alonso past. I doubt many will come out and apologise or admit they were wrong - but it will still be very satisfying for me.

Umm...How does them not doing it at some hypothetical future event, when it's not against the rules, make those of us who are critical of them for having already done it, when it in fact was illegal, wrong and need to apologise?

Observations
Alonso doesnt bode well with competitive teammates
Requires #1 status with teams (as per Symond's Comments)
He was a central character in Spygate (directly involved)
The rook wasn't what he expected
He wasn't liking the idea of loosing to a teammate
He goes to Daddy Flabio tells him about Spygate
It's plausible the cheat Flab tells him to blackmail Ron for absolute #1 status (Flabio orchestrated Crashgate so please do not even try telling me he "wouldnt" do it)
Ron disagrees
Alonso and Flabio tell Max and Alonso the Culprit somehow gets Immunity (why wasn't he punished?) he was up to his neck in that sh**
McLaren lose WCC points and are fined 100 mill
One other problem exists
WDC.........how can a cheating team win it? It would be ridiculed for ever

Leaving Lewis out on shot tires while loosing 3-4 secs per lap (it just doesnt make sense) and the "Mysterious" glitch was that a first or what. It just that a pro outfit like McLaren to lose a title like that in such amateur way
So for some reason I believe that Maca couldnt/didnt want to win the WDC.........which is good and better for them,Lewis and everyone. He'd have a tainted title(in some peoples views)

So 2007 will forever be talked about because us the fans are missing the most important thing..............THE TRUTH.........ALL OF IT

[edit] just realized this was my post # 666 :yikes: the devil works in weird ways........what are the odds
