Since we're being HONEST
You have an honest view but not enough F1 knowledge to know that F1 was popular in spain before Alonso and had healthy viewing figures on spanish TV. Alonso just brought it up a notch to overtake motocycle racing. So I think that will tell you that the spanish people are big fans and well cultured in motorsport.
