Poor Q3 by Mclaren they went faster in Q2. McLaren have setup the car for wet conditions so lets hope they haven't made the same mistake as Williams in Malaysia and hope it actually rains. The McLaren is definitely on par with Ferrari now which is good news :)

Fuuuuckkkk.. my expectations were so high after Lewis had been fastest in Q1 and Q2, then he messed up in Q3 and position 6 is not a place McLaren want him to be today.. Jenson is starting to earn my respect, he can pull it together when he needs to. Red Bull is still too fast for others.. I guess we'll see a red bull domination tomorrow with Lewis trying to fight from the back against ferraris and Jenson.. depressing...

Really! you are forgetting about Lewis's last 3 races and his overtaking skills plus his pace at the start of the race. You really think that Lewis wont be in front of Jenson by the first corner, look at all the times Lewis and Jenson have gone head to head on the track,Lewis has always been the winner this season. I would bet my yearly salary that Jenson and those in front of Lewis really are thinking he is a bit to close for comfort.

Their has been three races and only in one of them has Jenson been in front of Lewis. As for RedBull, they wont have it so easy tomorrow as all the top teams are on right behind them, not at the back of the grid.

Ill give Jenson his props though,he is doing a better job than i though he would but he still has no answer to Lewis or any of the top drivers overtaking him on the track. :yikes:

Lewis fighting from the back! exaggeration much, lol. Lewis is one place behind Jenson and 5 places behind Vettel,i would hardly call that the back.

Don't be surprised if Massa and Kubica are in front of Jenson by the first corner or lap.

Something not quite right

:yes::(

There's no way you can be fast in P1,2,3 Q1,2 and then in Q3 be slow! Somethings up with the ride heights in Q3 still Mr Horner!

Classic comment from the team for Vettel "GOOD JOB VETTEL, who needs ride control?"

Somthing dodgy about RBR

Hes hiding somthing

Hiding the fact that Newey has simply outfoxed the teams with his unique suspension design? :P

unique is one thing denying a change in ride height yet seeming to run low in Q3 is another.

Why didn't the FIA find anything then? Ever thought that it could be because of the unique pull rod suspension on the RB6 and also the car not having to rely as much on the diffuser as some of the other teams?

Also possibility that the car relies more on its upper body devices.

I'm not suggesting that they aren't running anything, i'm just stating what has been written by a few in the media

Pull rod setup coping better with varied fuel loads than push rod?
.

Yep. That is my point.

I find this all quite fuuny :hehe:

Lewis fluffed it in quali, and the McLaren fans get crazy confused and start dreaming up excuses for him.

I mean don't start blaming suspension here. Thats just clutching for straws. If Red Bull could run lower ride heights, wouldn't they have been faster in all sessions, not just all of suddenly go faster for the last session.

I also think if today didn't shut up a large amount of Vettel's critics, they're just plain stuborn. The guy managed an unbelievable lap under pressure. He didn't look as fast this weekend, then suddenly he manages to go fastest in the first sector. The very sector he'd been struggling with. Amazing lap.

Maybe but that doesn't explain Ferrari who is said to have some similar system to redbull

It's been suggested that Ferrari has a ride hight adjuster which they use at pit stops which is legal. When asked Ferrari haven't denied it.
The thing is there are so many different methods of changing the cars ride hight it could be very hard to know if a team is using such a system or procedure. Once the cars are in parc ferme they are watched for every second until the start of the race so an automatic system or procedure would be needed I hope none of the teams are doing so because it would be cheating.
The thing is Red Bull is amazingly more quick in quali compared to cars that have a similar if not better race pace the only obvious difference is that Red Bull are the only ones running pull rod suspension.
