I think he's a nice guy that tells you what he means, doesn't mince words and gets things done. Being a prick is personal opinion. But it's television, who'd confuse a "role" the guy plays with how he'd be in day to day life with his family and friends.

He's making a living out of acting the way "some" people act for free. :hehe:

It's all scripted. I mean if someone spoke to you like that you'd either lamp them, tell them where to go or both.

Maybe the fame and fortune is enough to keep your mouth shut.........temporarily??

Maybe for some people but Gordon ramsey is a prick who knows how to read a cook book and gets paid millions to show how much of a prick. I'd love to go to one of his restaurants and order a bowl of cornflakes just to annoy him! :hehe:

They probably aren't on the menu!! :D

As for who and what he is, at the end of the day, people watch and sponsor him, just as they do any other celebrity!
Wish I had a gimmick to sell!! hahaha...

Oh there's no end to how one can sell themselves out to the general public and get their 15 minutes of fame on some trash TV style programme. Just think of something really obscure.

If you can really talk out of your a** you could make a fortune on the TV. Saturday night on BBC1 awaits you. Ant and Dec won't know what's hit them over on ITV. :hehe:

I read a report in a lower end daily news rag last week where people were surprised, disappointed and distraught to find out that the episode of Top Gear with the hover van featured actors rather than random members of the general public getting soaked and nearly drowned. Why are people surprised at such things?

My Home Economics teacher would go ape rage at me, for not doing a simple thing, like forgetting to clean the dishes, or forgetting to add the bay leaf in my soup, boy she was scary

Did you ever notice that Home Economics food tasted different to exactly the same thing cooked at home with the same ingredients and in the same way?

Even when i pop into a guests house, they cook the same food we do, but i just can't seem to find the taste which is what i would normally eat in the house...

Indeed, well it's just the "love" potion your wife, mum, dad, whoever adds into the food :hehe:

Thats because your classmates would be adding their own special ingredients when you weren't looking.

I do agree your point is valid, but still you might not understand, still dosent taste like we want it to, and our classmates did have to add the same ingrediants, maybe they just add fairy liquid in a shotglass and just pour in into the soup, its not that, its definetly something...

Anyways, back to TV. Some very nice people have uploaded most, if not all, episodes of Still Game. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this spin-off from Chewin' the Fat. Well worth a watch.

Nice summary of Orphan Black.
What do you do when you witness a random woman committing suicide on a casual, deserted train station in the middle of the night? More importantly, what do you do when you witness your clone committing suicide on a random, deserted train station in the middle of the night? That is exactly what Orphan Black is all about.

A drifter, Sarah Manning witnesses such a death of her clone – named Beth, and is soon pulled into a maddening plot where she not only discovers that she is just one out of a series of clones, but that they are all being killed one-by-one. Soon, Sarah starts impersonating Beth, who, as luck would have it, is a cop investigating the clone conspiracy with the other clones. One of them is a soccer mom – Allison, the other, a Hippie lesbian scientist Cosima. Katja, the German clone is killed in the first episode, as she ambushes “Beth”. Through a series of phone calls to Beth, Sarah realizes there is much more to this as she is the only clone who isn’t barren, as she has a daughter she left in the care of Mrs. S, her own foster mother.

Now, I could give away the entire plot, but then what’s the fun in that? A crazy, mind-numbing storyline grips you and makes you crave for more. Tatiana Maslany plays literally half a dozen different characters flawlessly and there are likely to be more as the seasons roll on. Sarah’s gay foster brother Felix is played by Jordan Gavaris, who provides the show with his flamboyant wit and and also acts as a comic relief sometimes. But let’s go back to Tatiana Maslany. With the help of her make-up artists and excellent hair stylists, she plays six different roles of the clones with perfection – a bad-ass British punk (Sarah), an uptight Soccer mom in pink (Allison), a trippy lesbian scientist with dreadlocks (Cosima), the rock-n-roller German (Katja), a witty cop (Beth), a blonde and feral Ukrainian (Helena) and a Proclone, I had a hard time believing it was just one actress playing all of these roles. Each clone has a distinct stage presence as they have their very own and very different styles, looks, accents and personalities. They form their own #CloneClub.

Just stumbled on this and I thought it was hilarious, no one knew what the hell the interviewer was asking there, you need to re-watch Schoemacker and The Ham's faces a few times, priceless.
