I'll take Kubi's big nose over some pretty person who can't drive worth a damn any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Looks are irrelevant IMHO.
Cheers
But unfortunately that's not how it works out for a lot of people.
For example, an attractive, even "hot" female driver would get more fans than an ugly or fine female driver with the same amount of talent. (This usually applies to male drivers, also, but I used females as an example because there aren't any female drivers in Formula 1.)

A pretty person who can drive over an ugly one who drives just the same. Make your choice ladies and gentlemen. You see for all the fine talk about beauty within, I think we're a shallow lot and we'd go for the pretty boy/girl.

It's true that my favorite driver (Alguersuari) is considered attractive to a lot of people (including myself), but that's not the only reason why I like him. There are many other factors, too, like the fact that he seems really polite, so I think that he deserves another chance in F1.
This is might be a bad thing but I don't just look at talent. For example, I watched an interview with Jenson Button and he didn't seem very nice, so I can't bring myself to root for him. There are, of course, other drivers that I don't especially like, but they are more successful than Jaime.
